Profile |
Via del Babuino is a charming street, partially pedestrian zone, that joins Piazza del Popolo to the Spanish Steps. On its back are Via Margutta, Villa Borghese and the Pincio. On the other side are Via del Corso, Via Ripetta and the Tevere river. Easily reachable by bus, tram and metro, Yourbabuino Apartment is ideal for those willing to visit Rome and its historical sights by feet or by public transportation. |
The apartment is in a 18th century building (Palazzetto Sterbini), with a luxuriant court with plants, statues and fountains. To get to Yourbabuino Apartment you got to be able to go up two floors and a half of stairs, no elevator (sorry....but it is worth!). The flat's door opens directly on the terrace and you'll have to walk through it to get to the apartment. The big terrace is quiet and sunny. |
There you could have a drink, your meals, take a sun bath or simply do nothing and chill out. In the hectic chaos of the "Eternal City", only singing birds will keep you company. The apartment lies on a slightly lower level: it has been newly refurbished in February 2005. Its style is very simple but elegant: traditional materials, such as wood, have been matched with modern ones (concrete and plastic). It is composed by a wide living room, a kitchen area, a bathroom and a bedroom. Definitely comfortable and fully equipped, Yourbabuino Apartment can accommodate up to four people. |
