Antonio and the other gentleman were extraordinarily helpful with directions, transportation, and helping me retrieve my lost luggage. I will certainly recommend this hotel to anybody I know who will travel to Rome

The staff were extremely helpful. They offered to obtain a replacement camera battery for me so that I did not have to spend time going through the city to find a shop.

The checkout process was very quick and thorough. During Checkout, I inquired about purchasing an ashtray as a souvenir of the hotel and they kindly gave me two.

Very charming hotel in an old Villa. Small, but very comfortable and richly decorated rooms with so much more character than a large chain hotel would have.

very quiet, although it is on a busy road. We did have a little trouble trying to turn off the heat--but we didn't ask anybody and we just opened the windows.

I think it might be useful to give a few directions (or maps) to certain places (e.g., Farmacia, restaurants, stores with snacks, grocery stores).

All in all, it is a delightful hotel, seemed to be primarily a business person's hotel, not a touristy one. We much prefered what we received.

The receptionist was extremely helpful, and he booked tours for us, provided us with maps and reccommended dining locations. He was always very polite and helpful.

The air-conditioning was the only thing that was not up to our standards. It never seemed to cool the room and sleeping was uncomfortable as a result.

I would reccommend the hotel. It has a very nice location in a more quiet section of Rome, which made it nice to return to at the end of a busy day. It was within walking distance to good dining.

Q8 This is not a criticism. The hotel is old, the rooms could do with a refit/modernisation but I appreciate that this will not be easy in such circumstances and spacious they are not.

I felt that €180 per night (£130) was expensive for the quality and position of the hotel. For me 'good value for money would have been £80 per night. However, it has to be said I have not done a comparison with other hotels in Rome.

A very pleasant, but overpriced old-fahioned hotel. Away from the hussle and bussle of the city centre but conveniently close to it. If you want all mod-cons this is not for you but if you want an individual taste of Rome rather than a standard international box type hotel room this hotel will suit your needs.

the location and staff were fantastic.what let`s the hotel down are the rooms,there was a serious damp problem in one and the others were very tired this did suprise a little as the web page stated it had been recently refurbished,also there is no bar or any way to get a drink ,only 2 of the 4 rooms our party had contained a mini bar and only one fridge actually worked.

The staff was far from helpful. We were traveling with a small child and when we, the parents, were seperating for the day, we asked for a general map of Rome. We were told we were already given one upon check-in and that they did not offer additional maps, free or for sale. This was our last stop on a 3+ week trip to Italy and by far the least accomodating stay. The staff seemed to be forced to even greet us. Bummer, I would not recommend the hotel based soley on the staff. The accomodations were perect, but the stay we had earlier in Rome for 95E per night was far beyond this one. Very disappointing........Too bad.

The hotel was great. The staff was the best we have ever had at a hotel. They were friendly and helpful, their English was excellent and they made arrangements for dinner at a place that was outstanding, apparently requesting special treatment for us at the restaurant.

The shower outlet was partially blocked so that water filled up while showering. I forgot to mention this to staff before leaving.
The quality of the breakfast could be improved by providing fresh orange juice.

The hotel was further away from the main sights than I had expected. We did alot of walking!

The staff were unaware that you can catch a shuttle bus to the airport from the station. They were recommending a taxi, which was very expensive.
However the shuttle was disorganised and over crowded.

Requested and agreed with afternoon receptionist early breakfast due to tour which commenced at 7.00 a.m. On day of tour whilst eating breakfast at 6.55 a.m. rudely pointed out by night receptionist that breakfast commenced at 7.00 a.m.

With the exception of the attitude of one receptionist our stay was pleasant. The room was very clean with fresh sheets and towels daily. Staff were very helpful in booking tours and information. The lack of decoration on the second floor landing spoiled overall appearance.
