By plane: Rome has two international airports in the suburbs, Fiumicino and Ciampino. They are both easily connected to central Rome, reaching Termini station by various means of public transport.
By car: - From Fiumicino airport ( 25 km from the inn): Join road A91 as you come out of the terminal and take the exit for "Roma Centro/ Magliana/ Trastevere". Go along Via della Magliana and you will arrive in Rome, where you must take Piazza Antonio Meucci, Via Oderisi da Gubbio and turn left in Via Quirino Majorana. Finally, veer left in Circonvallazione Gianicolense and you will find the building on number 214. (25 minutes driving). - From Ciampino airport ( 26 km from the inn): You must take roads SS7DIR and S7 before A90/E80. Get off at exit 28 for "Ostia/ Acilia/ Roma/ Ostiense" and continue along SS8BIS and SS8. Go along Via Ostiense and you will pass Rome. Afterwards, take Via Guglielmo Marconi, Ponte Guglielmo Marconi and turn right in Piazza Augusto Righi. Go along Via Guglielmo Marconi and turn left in Via Francesco Grimaldi. Then take Quirino Majorana and follow the indications (25 minutes).
By train: From Fiumicino airport you can take the Metropolitano railway service and get off at the second stop, Trastevere. Here, take tram 8 which leaves you off only 10 metres from the property after around 5 minutes. At Ciampino airport, you can take the Sitbusshuttle, which leaves you off on Via Marsala, near Termini station, in 30 minutes: afterwards, get on the metro (line B, direction Laurentina) and descend at Piramide, where you can change urban railway and go up to Trastevere. |
