Coming by Plane:
From Fiumicino Airport (28 Km):
Take the train to Trastevere Station (20 minutes) then take either a taxi to "Vicolo del Bologna" n. 25 (10 minutes) or tram line (n. 8) with stop at Piazza Sonnino. Once there turn left taking Via Della Lungaretta for 273 m, continue on Piazza Di Sant'Apollonia for 37 m that leads onto Piazza Di Santa Maria In Trastevere. Continue on Via Della Paglia for 70 m, turn right onto Piazza Di Sant'Egidio- Via Della Pelliccia for 13 m and you will find Vicolo Del Bologna on the right hand-side and the apartment at number 25.
From Ciampino Airport (25 Km):
From Ciampino airport take a shuttle bus up to Ciampino railway station and then a local train (it runs from 5.30 am to 10.30 pm every 20 min.) up to Termini station. Once at Termini station catch the bus line "H" up to Piazza Sonnino. Once there turn left taking Via Della Lungaretta for 273 m, continue on Piazza Di Sant'Apollonia for 37 m that leads onto Piazza Di Santa Maria In Trastevere. Coming by Train:
The nearest railway station is "Trastevere". It is very well connected with Fiumicino airport and the outskirts of Rome (Bracciano, Civitavecchia) but the main railway station in Rome is "Termini". In front of the main exit of Termini railway station you can take the line "H" up to Piazza Sonnino (5 stops). Once there turn left taking Via Della Lungaretta for 273 m, continue on Piazza Di Sant'Apollonia for 37 m that leads onto Piazza Di Santa Maria In Trastevere. Continue on Via Della Paglia for 70 m, turn right onto Piazza Di Sant'Egidio- Via Della Pelliccia for 13 m and you will find Vicolo Del Bologna on the right hand-side and the apartment at number 25.
As an alternative take the train connection to Trastevere Rail Station and then take a taxi from Trastevere Station, which will take about 7 minutes. |
