I had such a wonderful time at Vatican's House. The place is a bit hard to find the first time but the staff are always available via mail and mobile phone, and they were very helpful and friendly, so I never had any problems. I was a bit worried about the shared bath room thing, but the place was always clean and I never really had any issues of use of bath room. The location was semi central Rome, but I preferred the quietness and security. Access to all the major tourist spot is very easy via metro and bus. Being very close to the Vatican, is really good as you have to wait in a big line to get in to the museum etc. The room was spacious, well air conditioned, very confortable and quiet. A delicious italian breakfast. I recommend the place to anyone. ... all perfect ...
good shuttle service from the airport.
... good value for money.

The directions to the B&B were not clear and it did take us some time to locate it. Nevertheless it was lovely. ... Very spacious, clean, tidy, warm. The landlady was superb, very hospitable....the only problem was we couldn't understand each other as she did not speak English, and we did not speak Italian. Nonetheless, we did manage basic communicaton through gestures! ... We didn't have any formal checking out as such. The landlady was very warm and friendly when we said our 'goodbyes'. ... As we could not communicate very well with out landlady, we could not ask her about some of the very loud noises we heard during the night. There were fireworks going off every night at around 10:30-11:00pm. I think this was from the neighbouring hotel. During one night there were a lot of crashing noises within the B&B. We did not know what caused these. ... I would described it as being a little out of the way, but well worth it as it was set away from the main road, and very quiet generally. The double bedroom was very clean and spacious, as was the large en-suite bathroom, which had a shower unit instead of a bath. It was surprisingly like Fort Knox though, with all the security features!

Very clean and friendly. ... Although it was a bit difficult to find, the quiet, clean rooms were great. The proprietor did not speak english, and it was no detriment. She 'spoke' sign language very well, and between or smattering of Italian, we rubbed along just fine. The property was roomy and comfortalbe.
