With a pleasant walk of few minutes you can arrive to the Colosseum and the Fori Imperiali, the most important remains of ancient Rome, witness of the social organisation of Roman people. Appartamento Vanvitelli is located in one of the most typical quarters of Rome, where you can find many good restaurants, pizzerie, and trattorie where you can taste the local cuisine with its typical dishes. At the end of Via Marmorata, immediately after river Tevere, you will find yourself in Trastevere, another very characteristic and picturesque part of Rome with several local eateries and drinking places called osteria.
