Hotel staff were also helpful when we had to leave our bags for a couple of days, and with arranging for taxis.
... Hotel Turner is on a busy street -- which has its pros and cons -- but if the window is open, it's a bit noisy because of traffic. ... I would describe it as a great place, but in European style, meaning smaller rooms than North Americans are used to. This hotel is very close to public transportation and fairly close to the train station, so it's easy to get around. Also, it's withing walking distance of the Villa Borghese and Mussolini's villa, both of which we were interested in seeing.

There was a slight mix-up regarding the room - we had asked for a family room but the hotel had a double room booked for us. However, we were able to upgrade to a junior suite for an added charge. ... We really loved the size of the junior suite and the fact that it was really quiet even though it was on the main road. The decorations were beautiful and very traditional. ... A very traditional hotel with an adequate breakfast and the fact that it was a little way from the city centre was not detrimental as we love walking.

They initially gave us a room with a view of an alley, the room was very small, and there was a shower only, no tub. We asked for a better room, and they kindly obliged. It had a tub and shower, view of the street, and it was larger. We paid $30 E more per night, but it was worth it. ... Even though it is somewhat removed from the main part of Rome, there is a busstop right outside the hotel that has several buses that take you to pretty much whereever you want to go (Colosseum, Roman Forum), or they'll stop at a Metro which can take you to the Vatican. ... Lovely. We would stay there again.

I had trouble finding the Hotel and so did my sister and her husband, who were also staying there. Other than that, everything was great. I stayed in the suite which was very nice. ... Better directions from the train station. ... Hotel turner has reasonably priced rooms at a location close to the train station and within a long stroll or short cab ride from all the major attractions. The rooms were elegantly furnished if a little small. One is better off in the suites which are quite nice.

The room was far smaller than the picture on the website.
In addition (and more importantly) the image on the website shows a bath - our room did not have a bath, only a shower that did not work correctly. ... We had to ask for toilet paper and soap on 3 seperare occassions!!! I have never had to do that before and hope never to have to do it again.
Also, the shower did not work correctly - it blasted alterbatively hot and cold water. ... complaining to them makes no difference ... Looks good but thats it.

Very easy to use and very informative ... Quiet hotel located near the Porta Pia, 10 mins away from Termini station, near to shops. Very clean and friendly.

To reach the top floor you need to use 2 separate lifts and one of these is very small. The hotel would not be suitable for disabled guests.

The room was much smaller than expected and it was described as a 'junior suite' which was an exaggeration compared to other junior suites where we have stayed ... It was good value for Rome. ... The website indicated that the hotel was within easy walking distance to the Spanish Steps for instance and that was definitely not the case. ... Old fashioned, but in a nice way. Good bathroom. Helpful staff.

Room was listed as 'superior', however the room was very small and dark. The front desk was unable to move us to a better room. ... Decor was dark and drab, at least in our room. Room was very small, compared to web-site. Staff was friendly and very helpful. ... OK
