A vehicle shuttle was arranged to bring us from the airport to the accomodation and we paid 15% more than if we had a taxi from the airport...

The web site doesn't state that there is only one air-conditioner in the apartment which doesn't suffice for the second small room and the temperture in Rome in July/August is above 34C...

Very nice loft apartment, suitable for x4 people in a central entertainment area (that is if you don't mind the noise from the downstairs restaurants until 3am)

I e-mailed ahead to have someone meet us at the airport, that did not happen.

Veronica was apparently out of town so we did not get any service at all. The washing machine was broken, the sink in the small bedroom was broken, the cabinet over the bed in the small bedroom was broken and hit my son in the head every night. Nothing was addressed and we told Nelson about theses things. One of the reasons I rented this property was for the washer, I had to go the the laudromat down the street, if defeated the whole purpose of staying there.

The noise level at night was ridiculous! It was not mentioned that a bar was right below the apartment and the noise went on until 3-4AM. That needs to be made clear to people upfront.

The owner could not be there to greet us.
We spoke to her by phone and she had changed
policy about taking credit cards which was a
bit inconvenient but not the end of the
world.

We did get the impression that the apartment
was meant for 3 and not for 5 - there was no
bed linen for the pull out bed but we
managed to find some sheets in an upstairs
cubboard which we also used for pillowcases.
There were very few of anything in the
kitchen - 3 mugs, 1 cracked. No kettle. No
teapot. One person coffee percolator. No
iron. If we had wanted to self cater it
would have been very difficult.
Noise levels could really bother some people
- got used to it but slept with pillow over
head on first night

Beautiful, character filled apartment right
in the centre of interesting area perfect
for wandering at night after meal. Bit
noisy at night and a little rough and ready
in the kitchen but full of character and
worth it. Could do with upgrade on kitchen
contents (very few of anything) but Kitchen
itself fine and apartment really lovely.
Typically local apartment with graffiti on
door and slighly grubby entrance but this is
nothing to worry about and is worth putting
up with for the return in atmosphere. Area
full of no nonsense restaurants spilling
onto cobbled streets serving down to earth
Italian fare. Windows of apartments open
onto beautiful vista, great for people
watching. Area v noisy at night so if you
want a quiet retreat this is not for you.

Everything was as expected on our arrival...Nelson was there to receive us and explain things about the apartment.

The apartment was very convenient for us, the location is great and although it is in a noisy and busy area, this was stated in the listing. This did not make a difference to us.

It is not an easy place to find the first time, I suggest using their pickup service if arriving by plane or train. Because it is an apartment, there is not a receptionis, the drive let us in and gave us instructions. He was very friendly and helpgul.

There is no phone and the airport could not deliver our delayed luggage unless we waited for them.

The apartment is very nice and clean. It really makes you feel like you are living in Rome. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and bakeries within walking distance as are buses and taxies. We will recommend the apartment to all who want to experience real Rome. If you like peace and quiet at night, do not stay here!

It was an apartment so there was no staff as most of the questions above refer to but the owner helped out with most of our questions and transportation to and from the airport.

Some of the items listed were not in the apartment, Iron was the big one for us and I would of liked instructions in english on how to work the washing machine.

It was a very good location but we did have friends stay near by in a march larger apartment for a few hundred less. They had a four bedroom and we had a loft style two bedroom.

It is located in an area where the locals stay out late and party in the streets so the noise was a little much. It was just a good thing that we were out late also.

I would say it was in a very good location, a little loud and I would not suggest it to if more than 3 people were going. When you have a loft open bedroom and a pull out couch, it's a little hard to get any privacy in a very romantic place as Rome is.

General Comments.
Even though it is an apartment, property should include toiletries - shampoo ect.
Directions given were difficult to follow and we ended up ringing the owner to try and find the place.

Hot water was luke warm - cold.

The area around the apartment is all small steets and you definately need a better map.
Apartment should come with toiletries. We are not in the habit of carrying shampoo etc when on holiday.
You need to emphasise the stairs.
You have to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to the penthouse. Would NOT recommend to the elderly, slight handicapped or unfit!!

Rome sights all within walking distance.

The owner came to pick us up from the station which was fantastic - we didn't have to worry about getting there!

The place were a little cold for winter but it would be perfect for summer. It would be good if there were more heaters.
Also, the water wasn't very hot so it was sometimes a bit cold to have a shower.
Having the kitchen was good but it would have been nice to have a kettle as well.

It might be useful to say that there's a large refrigerator, and lots of utensils and crockery to cook with.
The information on your website was very accurate. We found the location excellent!!

Although the taxi was there to meet us in the airport - the taxi dropped us in a nearby piazza because he could not get the car apparently up the side streets.
It was very frightening to be left at 12 midnight in Rome the streets were very crowded and we were unsure where we had to go.

The Penthouse was very clean and tidy and very centrally located with a beautiful bakery across the road.
However the small room I could not sleep in as this was very small and the smell of the toilet and the noise outside would of kept me awake all night but the bed sofa in the living area was adequate.
The apartment was fine upstairs for aircondition however we did not benefit from this downstairs it was very hot and could not open the windows because of the noise from the bar below.
The apartment was very very very noisy especially between 12-3pm.

It was in a very noisy neighborhood. But we were very close to many important places which we liked.

We were not prepared to pay cash. But the rentors were very understanding as we had trouble with getting that much cash with our bank card.

Very 'happening' neighborhood. Nice for young kids, but not for old folks!
