A bottle of wine was waiting for us on our arrival - a much appreciated gesture! ... The flat and Trastevere made an excellent base for a Roman holiday. We would like to stay there again. ... Please mention the hairdryer! ... A well equipped base in a vibrant and exciting and characterful area of Rome. Very close and accessible to all of central Rome.

The H bus that goes to the appartment is very unreliable. A much better way of getting from the central station is to get any bus that goes to Argentina and get the No 8 tram from there which is every couple of minutes and will get to the appartment + walking time in 35 minutes. ... The pictures on the web site allude to a modern appartment with a double bed. Infact all you get is a creaky sofa bed. The appartment is very overpriced and outside a bar and is infact quite noisy. It is also rather dark. I do not recommend this place in any way. ... Overpriced

Very easily found, no problems at all. The voucher sent to us via email before our departure explained everything about the arrival details and was very reassuring. ... Very clean. Spotless, in fact. ... We simply left the key on the counter and locked the door behind us. A cleaning crew apparently comes and straightens everything/cleans/takes the laundry so that the studio is ready for the next visitors. ... The neighborhood is a real plus - you can find crowds in Trastevere if you're young and want to meet people and stay out late, but you can also find a part of the city that feels very authentic. There are family trattorias where all you hear is Italian, and quiet little corners and side streets that are a great delight to discover. Plus, the studio is just down the street from the prettiest church in Rome (Santa Maria en Trastevere) and right across the Ponte Sisto from Campo de Fiori, and it's just a lovely short walk along the Tiber to the Vatican. Ideally situated. A perfect little hideaway. ... This is absolutely the best deal in Rome - a charming little studio on a quiet section of the Via della Scala, and so affordable. Completely clean, completely secure, and well-stocked for visitors: individual shampoos, soaps, etc. Next time in Rome we will definitely try to book this again.

Our flight was 5 hours delayed and we luckily remembered to email the owner about our arrival time. if we hadn't had this opportunity I think it may have been difficult to contact the owner! ... This was perfect accomodation for us, it allowed us to be totally independant and was in a fantastic location, many bars, restaurants, and sites of interest on the doorstep. It is like you are living in Rome!! i can not recommend it strongly enough and we will definately be returning. ... the owner was flexible about our check out time with no extra cost. ... the positive thing about this accomodation is that it is totally private.. you can come and go as you please. It feels like your own place! ... perfect for a young couple that wants to explore Rome independantly and have lots of privacy

I'm pleased we arranged for a transfer from the airport, although it was a long time coming! We did then have to wait a while for someone to come with the key. ... We loved the flat, although there is something to be said for the ease of getting information in a hotel. Fortunately, there is a tourist office not too far distant. ... Easy! ... As a fabulous little apartment in a terrific area.

The accomodation was smaller than we expected and we were anticipating a bedroom separate from the living accomodation. Having reviewed the website on our return I cannot find anything that promises more than we got, but from the photos before we went we were expecting a larger flat with a separate bedroom from the living room. The voucher said that there were 2 bedrooms but in reality there were none as the living area doubled as the bedroom. Having said all that - Rome was wonderful. ... The voucher said 2 bedrooms but the reality was 1 room with a sofa bed. This should be stated in the description. ... The location was very nice with very good restaurants close by.

We would recommend the trastevere apartment. It is in an excellent location. We would only recommend that guests pay a little extra for changing linens and towels for longer stays.

I couldnt have asked for a better location. Although some people might find the accomodation to be rather small, it is actually the same size or bigger than most three or four star hotels in Rome. Infact, the people we were traveling with stayed in a four-star hotel that was double the price of the flat, and their room was much smaller. ... Location is fantastic. ... Fantastic! A truly authentic feel.

... easy ... while it did not bother us, this area of trastevere is quite 'lively' late on weekend nights. ... very comfortable and clean, well located in trastevere.

Very pleasant stay and friendly owners, clean room with all facilities we needed. ... The only negative aspect was that the B&B was in quite a noisy location - lots of audible traffic. ... Just that the location is a bit on the noisy side - for us this wasn't really a problem but for some it might be an important factor. ... Lovely accomodation but area a little noisy. Also for some it might be too far from the historic centre (though we were given very useful information on buses by the owners of the B&B). Overall, a very positive recommendation.

When we landed we called the woman who had emailed us. She said she'd meet us at the apartment in an hour. It didn't take us quite that long to get there so we had to wait a little while, but she did arrive right on the hour that we had agreed upon. Sadly she spoke almost no English. I do not think this was the same woman I had emailed with or spoken to on the phone. She let us in and showed us around and the language barrier didn't prove to be too much of a problem. We had a few questions she couldn't answer. ... This flat was great. We stayed in a hotel room on our last night in Rome (to be near the train station) and we paid more for much less at that hotel. Our experience at this flat and at one in Florence have convinced us that hotels are an expensive waste of money. We had a much better experience at this flat than we did at any hotel we stayed at during our honeymoon. ... Check out was very simple. Just leave the keys and close the door. ... There is a bit of street noise from the Via Della Scalla below, and the shower is TINY. But other than that everything was right on. ... GREAT location in the best, most interesting part of Rome for dinner and night life. Close to all the big sites. Big space and good value for the money. Overall on a scale of one to 10, this was a definite 10.

I arranged a pick up(45 euros), which was there when we arrived. When we arrived we were met with the key for the flat, so there was no hassle and well worth the mnoey. ... The flat was small but what I expected having read the reviews. ... The owner had no guests in, so she let us stop in the flat all day which was very handy as our plane was not until 21.00. ... The location is excellent, we really enjoyed the local nightlfe. ... Small but ideal for what we wanted. The location of the flat was in a really nice area with great nightlfe.

The property was clean and well looked after. In general the facilities were good. There were 3 small problems which if corrected would improve the property greatly:
1) the loo seat was broken 2) there was insufficent cutlery - only 1 normal glass and 1 wine glass - we did not use the property to cook, had we done so it would have proved difficult. 3) the property was dark - i understand it is on the 2nd floor and surrounded by high buildings but as a result it would benefit greatly from the addition of more/stronger lamps.
Other than these 3 factors we enjoyed our stay and I would certainly return to Trastevere flat. ... none ... none ... The flat is located in the centre of Trastevere. It is well proportioned if compact. I would not advise you to stay there if street noise bothers you as it can be very loud. There is a sofa bed - which is perfectly comfortable. It was clean and well presented although missing a few necessary kitchen items. I would certainly recommend it to a young couple looking for somewhere to stay in Rome for a long weekend as it is well located, clean and certainly represents value for money considering comparative hotel prices. I would definitely go back.

Our greeter spoke no English and seem anxious to leave. ... The room is charming, if small. It is a little disconcerting to have to put toilet paper in a can next to the toilet. If we didn't have an Italian friend helping us to communicate with the caretakers things would have been difficult. The door is difficult to open but we eventually got the hang of it. ... No ... No ... Charming if small. Great location.

Benedetta was very nice. The flat is very noisy due to that the road is very narrow and extremly busy even in the early hours 3-4am.And that is even with good windows. ... One very big draw back is that No tissues was allowed to be disposed off in the toilet! The bed was a sofa not uncomfortable, but there were no sheets provided, only a quilt.I think if clients knew this before-hand they would not book it. ... Only good value because of the area, and not expensive compared to hotels nearby.

We waited 10 minutes for the owner of the flat to come with the keys and let us in and show us around. The wait was a very minor inconvenience and was due to the taxi driver not alerting the flat owner than we had arrived. ... Trastavere flat was ideal for our needs. ... Convenient walking distance to all monuments and several good restaurants/bars, comfortable, private, uncluttered, fun, clean, good value for money, cosy, all necessary mod-cons (fridge, hair dryer, tv, cd/radio), decent shower - the perfect flat for a romantic long-weekend in the eternal city.

The apartment owner was right on time and she gave us a bottle of wine. Very nice gesture. ...
The thing that was a little off for us was that you could not put toilet paper in the toilet because of the age of the pipes.
There was no extra toilet paper in the apartment. ... The location of the flat was perfect. The area is just so great and lively and the food in the area was terrific. It was exactly what we had hoped for and would stay in that area the next time we travel to Rome.
... Welcoming, private, very Roman, and delicious

... the flat was much smaller than we thought. it was more like a room with a little kitchen. and there was no bed but a bedsofa. we didn't know there were problems with the toilet (we were not allowed to throw any paper in the toilet, but use a little basket...) ... the small size of the accomodation should be mentioned, also that there is only a bedsofa and not a normal bed. ... very quiet, which is great. but very small and too expensive for what it offers.

Fantastic flat, best location ever and helpful assistance throughout the booking service and on arrival. I found the bed fairly comfortable, however my husband slept at the other end of the bed due to it sloping down. I feel with simple reconfiguring of the space you could fit a real bed in that space and two very comfortable chairs, which slide away to gain access to the cupboard which is rarely used. ... please seee arrival experience ... having no place to store our luggage and with a 9pm flight really posed problems for us. Your representative kindly asked the caffe next door to allow us to store our luggage with them.
To be honest, we did not know if we could trust that arrangmemnt, and leave our bags unattended so we took them with us throughout the day, if there are any properties/hotels you manage in the area i am sure i would pay 10 euros for the convenience of having them stored safely in a reputable hotel run by your company....just a suggestion

Our stay in Trastevere Flat during Easter week, 10.-17th April, was a very pleasant one. Although the flat is rather small and dark it was fine for at week's stay for my wife and myself, and apart from being within walking distance from many of the grand sights of the city, the number one attraction about it was that here we were staying in the middle of Trastevere among all the ordinary people, the best way to discover this part of the city. When in Rome do as the romans.... Perhaps the description of the apartment on your site was a bit exaggerated - the part about the kitchen where you could cook your meals and invite your friends for dinner - but it's okay. We had breakfast and coffee in the apartment and a glass of wine in the evening, and that was fine. After all, we didn't go to Rome to cook as we do at home. Our hosts were very nice, they stayed up to welcome us although we arrived very late, and they were not too rigoristic as to having us check out on the stipulated check out time sharp. All in all a very pleasant stay. And when going to Rome the next time we shall certainly check out your site for accomodation.
