Trastevere means "across the Tiber": the neighbourhood where you will stay is considered to be the most Roman of all, even though it belonged to the Etruscan empire for a long time. Among its main spots, you should not miss the Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, a lively square full of restaurants, cafeterias and tourists.

You must also check the Isola Tiberina, an island in the middle of the river, which you may reach through two bridges, the Fabrizio and the Cestio. The lodging was opened in July 2007 on the first floor of a three-storey building from the 1900. The construction stands on a little alley called Via Pietro Manzi, placed only 50 metres from Trastevere railway station.

It is here where you will arrive either from the airport, Termini train station in downtown Rome, or even other metro stations in the Eternal City. Also, by taking tram lines 3 and 8 you will easily reach the historical centre with Piazza Venezia, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, among other sights. In the immediate vicinity, do not miss Piazza Trilussa and Porta Portese.
