After traveling 2 days to arrive in Rome from Alaska USA, it was a relief to arrive at the Tiziano Hotel. The room was exactly as we had requested. The staff were quite helpful in settling us in our room. ... It was very hot during our stay, about 33C, and it would have been appreciated had the air conditioning worked more effectively but overall we equated the air conditioning problem to the temperature outside. We were very pleased with the breakfasts provided at the cafe and it offered a wonderful variety of fare. The location of the Tiziano is excellent, not only for its proximity to the ancient sites in Rome, but also to a variety of restaurants. Our room was exceptionally quiet and we loved our balcony overlooking a domo. I would be remiss if I did not mention that we loved our bathroom, especially the shower and all the cooling tiles. ... The checkout process was fast and courteous. We encountered no problems whatsoever. The hotel staff were polite, informative, and friendly. ... I would emphasize the excellent complimentary breakfasts, especially the variety of items offered. I would even include a photo of the variety of tasty items on your web site. We were pleased and delighted in your offerings. ... Delightful, centrally located, with pleasant and friendly staff. They were most accommodating. I would stay at Tiziano again, will stay there next visit to Rome, and highly recommend it to friends and associates.

I enjoyed our stay very much- the location is perfect for walking around Rome- we were 2 minutes from Piazza Navona, 15 min walk to the Vatican and about 15-20 min walk to the Coliseum and the Roman Forum - there were restaurants nearby as well- the room was beautiful and clean- the staff was helpful and friendly- i would definately stay there again, and recommend it to others ... the front rooms do overlook the street- which is one of the ones that we had- and you do hear the street traffic whcih did not bother us too much- but other people may find it bothersome ... perfect location for walking around Rome, very clean and spacious, the staff is very friendly and helpful- the continental breakfast offered much more than i expected- much more than just a roll and coffee- there were different types of rolls and breads, 3 different juices, ham and cheeses, fruit and cereal- and of course tea and coffee

Rooms are small but very clean and the location was within walking distance of all the sites including Vatican City. ... WATCH OUT FOR THE GYPSYS pickpocketing on the public buses!!!! ... Small but cahrming rooms, convenient to retaurants, sites, banks, tranportation etc.

The staff was organized, helpful, and attentive. I was given a detailed street map, and had several sights pointed out. I was even given great info on buses (cost, route #'s, etc.)per my request. ... The room was beautiful, and the location can't be beat! Walking distance to the Forum, Vatican, Spanish steps, just about everything in the heart of Rome! Also, the complimentary breakfast was above par! ... It was a bit expensive by American standards, but still a good value for the quality of the staff, the room, and the ideal location (espespecially if you consider that most hotel's in Rome are expensive by American standards). ... Anything short of a virtual tour of the hotel, and an in depth illustration of it's central location, will fail to truely do this Hotel justice. By no fault of Romeby.com! I had the kind of experience that can't be read about, only experienced. It really was a perfect place to stay! Except for Coca-Cola costing 3 Euro in the mini-bar:) ... See #15. Wonderful! This was equally attributed to the Hotel itself, the staff, and it's location.

We had also arranged through your agency a pick up service from the airport to the hotel. Upon arrival at the airport, we easily found the driver waiting for us at the arrivals. Everything was excellent! He spoke english and during the drive to the hotel, he also talked and told us about the sites in Rome as we were passing them. We were really happy with how all the planning was made! ... We would have to say that Hotel Tiziano seemed to have arranged one of the nicer rooms there for us. We got one of the few rooms (if not the only one) with a balcony. We were quite happy with our stay there. All the staff were always nice and polite. The air conditioner in the room was very good. And the room was clean and comfortable. We would definetely consider staying there again the next time we're back in Rome. ... I had also arranged with the Hotel for a driver to pick us up on the day of our check out and bring us to the airport ... all was perfect. ... I think your description of the hotel is quite well already. ... I would say that it was a very nice, comfortable place to stay at. All the staff spoke english and were always friendly. Their complimentary breakfast was also quite adequate to start anyones day off. We also used their internet services and found it quite convenient and not too expensive either. One of the nicest things about this hotel was the location. Hotel Tiziano was in a very central location. During our stay there, we did not have to use any public transportation as we could walk to everywhere ... the Vatican, the Colliseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain ... everywhere was within easy walking distance!

Upon check-in the concierge provided us with a location to store our jogging stroller and car seat. Was really helpful in getting us settled as we were traveling with a 3 year old provided us with restaurant information and a place to acquire cold fresh milk which is not always easy in Italy. ... The room we had was exactly as the web-site showed in fact it was decorated exsactly the same. The only thing that we had any issue with was the street noise, but please know that this is inherent in Rome and in no way reflects on the hotel. We slept with the window open and managed to sleep soundly. ... The hotel was definitely worth the money, within walking distance of major sites, Coliseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain and one of the best gelato places we enjoyed on our trip to Italy. Also, an easy inexpensive bus trip to the Vatican City. A really nice experience

Our room was very clean and nicely appointed although smaller than I thought by the photos on the website. Also we found the shower a little small and awkward. We were pleased with the quality of towels and linens. ... We enjoyed the Hotel Tiziano for the convenience in location to all of the sites that we wanted to see. Most were within easy walking distance. It was wonderful to be able to take in the market in Campo Di Fiori in the morning. Our room was a little small, but very nicely appointed and very clean. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning. Over all we would recommend this hotel.

Hotel sent airport transportation without air conditioning in 38+ C weather. Was hot and exhausted by the time we arrived. ... Off shift front desk personnel were cold and seemed disinterested. Hotel room air conditioning is poor. Room never got below 25 C. Rooms were clean but obviously poorly maintained. Cracking paint, leaky faucets, floor coming up, caulking around tub and shower falling off. Noisy rooms with hallway noise and outside traffic. Definitely not what a 4 Star is all about. VERY Uncomfortable beds ... Paid what was expected but definitely too much for the accommodations. There was no porter available to haul luggage (5 bags)down and into taxi. I was recommended to this hotel but will definitely NOT recommend to anyone else. ... Wireless internet does not work in hotel rooms. No restaraunt or bar. No information in the rooms about services. ... A good TWO STAR HOTEL!

The staff at the Tiziano is certainly one of the strongest features of the hotel. ... One of the strongest features of the hotel, in addition to the staff, is the location. It is the perfect hotel from which to base a visit to Rome. ... It is a Roman palazzo converted into a hotel. It retains some of the features of the elegance of the past century but is now clean, modern, centrally located and has a wonderful staff. Hotels in Rome, like most large cities, are expensive but the value of the Tiziano is well worth it.

small complaint...the hair dryer hose had been taped previously, it broke in 2 other places during our use which made it useless. Otherwise, we loved the Hotel Tiziano and would stay there again and recommend it to others. Also, the air conditioner was not working but we were able to open the window for air. ... They were very helpful, suggested a car for taking us to the airport and made all arrangements. ... Security is wonderful, a visitor arrived while we were there and they would not allow her in until they verified her purpose for being there, and they took her passport for documentation. They also made sure we had bus tickets (which they provided) and which bus to take to various sites. Directions were always correct, provided maps, etc. ... Great location, breakfast, the best coffee, very quiet and most helpful staff. Price was right for what we had.

Excellent by desk personnel though it was past midnight. We recieve a good room for the first night, but noted that is was on Corso Vittorio Emnualle 2, and would be noisy. The next day, we moved to another room on the top foor, with a small balcony and magnificent view of the roof tops, where in we stayed for the remaining time. ... The breakfast was monotonous, the same limited food (eg ham and cheese)was offered every day. With the excptionally rich Italian culinaria offered in the morning market at Campo Fiori, this was the only let down of the stay. The other letdown was that the wi-fi internet advertised did not reach our room, nor were there any cable alternatives, forcing me to use the hotel computer. ... Very positive ... I would recommend Hotel Tiziano to any one who does not need constant communications on demand, only to those who would be going on a vacation ready to forego the convenience of the internet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. ... Staff were very helpful at check out. ... We were quoted 60 Euro for the car service from the airport to the hotel, but it was only 50 from the hotel to the airport. ... Comfortable and convenient, good location.

I had stayed at the hotel in 2000 with my son and thought that the location was excellent. Unfortunately, the rooms was not clean and in very serious need of remodeling. By remodeling I mean fresh paint, cleaning of rugs, re-upolstering of chairs and sofas, etc. There is also a lot of dust in the rooms and there was mold in the ceiling of my shower. I was under the mistaken impression that the hotel had been recently redone. It's is a shame because it really could be something special. ... Great location, but the hotel is old and worn, and needs work. Hotel staff was professional.

Upon arrival at 10:00pm, the receptionist indicated that he could put us in a nicer room but that one was not ready. So he suggested that we checked in for the room initially reserved for us. Thank god he offered another room! The first one was tiny, not attractive and not spotless! We stayed in a spacious room, quite noisy; the bathroom was tiny and needs freshen up! ... I don't know how the rating works in Italy ... this was not a 4 stars hotel! ... I would not recommend it to a friend.
