We expected to see the sign for B&B Tiziana, and there was none. So we asked the people entering the building, and they suggested we go to 5th floor and let us into the lift ahead of them. The right thing to do was to ring 'Coppola/Panichi' from downstairs just like directions on website said. People living in this building and in this neighbourhood in general are very patient with tourists. We learned that when exiting the old-fashioned lift, you have to close both sets of doors behind you, otherwise nobody else is able to call the lift. ... Definitely beats staying in a hotel. This was a lovely quiet room. Fresh flowers, beautiful furnishings, every morning breakfast trolley outside your door. The owner Tiziana was invisible and only appeared when you rang for her. She told us about her favorite restaurants just around the corner and they are indeed wonderful. Our favorite was Pizza San Marino which was more than delicious thin crust pizza - it had everything one expects to find in an Italian restaurant, plus most family like atmosphere - very popular - always full of locals! There is express bus to center as well as local buses. No problem whatsoever with getting there and back. People in the neighboorhood are very friendly. We stayed only 4 nights, could have easily stayed much longer.
