The hotel and staff were wonderful, very helpful and polite, and the hotel was lovely; it's location near Campo di Fiori was perfect! I will recommend it to all my friends who go to Rome. The valet service to and from the airport that you offered was also very helpful. ... No complaints at all! ... Lovely hotel, very much a part of the area. It's location to Piazza Campo dei Fiori made it a great starting point for any sight-seeing we did, and the fact that Trattoria del Pallaro was so close (an excellent palce to eat!)made it even better on one very rainy night. The staff were so nice, and considerate. The room was much larger than I expected, well-appointed and meticulously clean, and the bathroom was excellent. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Rome.

You may want to suggest for people arriving from the airport they take the local commuter train (instead of Leonardo express) to Rome Trastevere, then Tram 8 to Largo Argentina. This brought us very close to the hotel, and we didn't have to hassle with a bus or Termini. It also only cost $5. ... Pluses: Great location! Tons of TV channels. Like the spacious room and storage. For Rome, it was pretty quiet.
Minuses - even by European standards, the bathroom had an awkward layout - not a major problem though. I was prepared for stairs to the room, however these were very narrow and winding - really a challenge with luggage. Room windows were broken in that they could not be properly opened and/or closed. We reported this Thursday, however it could not be repaird before we left. ... Great location, very convenient for evening and transport. Be careful of the stairs if you have a room in the dependence (although the room was very big).

The airport shuttle van (Margana Travel) driver was so upset trying to get to the hotel that he gave up and dropped me off in an alley way and had me walk with my baggage. We walked everywhere; Vatican ten minutes on foot; Piazza Navona Pathenon/Giolitti 5 to 10 minutes; Campo di Fiori 2 minutes flat; Coloseum/Forum/Etc 10 to 15 minutes. For the price, it is excellent as you are truly in the centre of where you want to be. ... The second time we stayed there we were in the annex no elevator 50 steps. The hotel arranged for transportation to the airport which was very reasonable and the driver arrived early. ... I would include walking times to the major historical sites. The distance from the hotel to different areas is published but having never been to Rome before I found this hard to comprehend. I would also mention that a taxi stand is close to the hotel and I would give approximate fares for various historical sites ie. Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, the Vatican. ... Very spacioius. On the first leg of the trip, our group was at the Capo di Africa. The location was excellent for what we were doing and the hotel was very nice. Great hotel in a fantastic location. A great room (in the annex) with very good decor and the most amazing bathroom (with double whirlpool bath!) Quiet room, very clean. I notice that a radio was on the room facilities list, but I didn't see one - unless it was hidden in the wall of cupboards in our room! Very small windows in the room (I expected full length windows as shown in some of the pictures) but this was only a very slight downside - the room was excellent quality so it didn't really matter! A spacious room comfortable for two. ... It really is in a great location - 10 mins to the colleseum, 15/20 to Vatican. In a locals area with cobbled streets and scooters! And the quality of accomodation was very high. Beautifully restored, but with original features (beams etc) ... Gorgeous hotel in a great location. Very pleasant. ... Rome is very expensive for Americans. The bargains of former years do not exist. But by prevailing Roman standards, our stay was definitely good value for money. ... Just what we hoped: a small, comfortable, friendly hotel with personality and charm and a sense of being part of Roman history: the opposite of an interchangeable chain hotel. Our room faced a narrow airshaft but even so, with its tile floors and high, wood-beamed ceiling, it never felt cramped or stuffy or shadowed. We look forward to staying there again.

The staff was extremely helpful with anything we needed- directions, something for the room. The walls were very white (plain) and a bit scratched from luggage but totally clean. It was an amazing breakfast and in the evenings we could hang out downstairs, in the breakfast and coffee bar area, with our friends. We used the Limo service offered by the hotel from and to the airport. The service was flawless both ways. The cost was E52 with no tip, no extras.
Simona, who I believe is the manager, was superb in finding an additional room for our nephew who decided to join us in Rome at the last minute. I couldn't find him anything in the same area using a web booking service, but Simona found a room in the hotel's annex that worked out perfectly. I also appreciated her concern for our nephews safe arrival as all this was during the week of John Paul II's funeral. ... We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks. We felt we could not have made a better choice given the location, cost, comfort. The room was a bit larger than we expected with two windows, nice. Sometimes the sound of the other guests in neighboring rooms was annoying as they came and went during our stay. Once a loud TV in the next room was obnoxious. ... All taken care of in the blink of an eye. ... Our room had two windows facing the small piazza in front of the hotel, actually a small car park. My guess is that half the rooms faced this way. The other half had windows opening onto a very small interior courtyard that also includes the stairwell. (To call it a courtyard is generous, it's just a small opening up to the sky.) As I walked down the stairs occasionally I found myself looking right into someone's room. Although I was not inside any of the courtyard rooms I was certainly glad to have a room which opened to the street and sky. Perhaps the interior rooms have the advantage of being quieter since our room was occasionally noisey with motorbike traffic and loud voices from the outdoor restaurant next door. Your web site should note the distinction between the two types of rooms, perhaps indicating which room numbers have street views and which open onto the tiny courtyard. ... I would certainly highly recommend this hotel to a friend. It was a pleasant retreat during our long stay. I liked the solid simplicity and comfort of the place (not overly frilly like some three and four star hotels), and the small size just 13 rooms. But I would suggest they get an outside room. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Bed very comfortable.

very kind driver, who picked us up at the airport and brought us also back; car very spacy for the luggage the lady at the reception was very helpful and prompt in making reservations for Galleria Borghese. we got helpful advice, how to move best to certain places ... we appreciated very much the nearness to campo dei fiori, piazza navona and other places of interest for us the room was very clean and in the evening we found it properly prepared ... We paid the evening before leavin early in the morning without any problems. Our pick up service there before time scheduled; so we could start right away. friendly good bye from the hotel ... Nice place to stay, not a luxury hotel, but in the midddle of Roman life, in a very special historic surrounding. good starting point, if you want to explore the heart of Rome on your own feet, but also easy access to public transport; all sorts of restaurants, bars, enotecas nearby. If you stay in the dependance - we liked it very much just beneath the roof -, you should not have big heavy lugagge. You don't need it even! After eating much of the tasteful pasta and drinking of the good vino della casa, it is good claimbing the stairs. If we return to Rome, our choice is - no question! - Teatro di Pompeo with its friendly staff.

our taxi booking was not made the previous evening and had to be requested again the following morning. There was no delay caused however. ... A charming hotel, with spacious clean rooms in a central location.

We had a very good experience at the Teatro di Pompeo. The location was central and very convenient. The rooms and all of the facilities were very clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful. We were in the annex and found it a little surprising that it was not a flight of steps but to the top floor it was three flights, a total of 51 stairs part of which were narrow and steep. We were traveling for two weeks and so our luggage was heavy, it would be good to offer a porter.

a driver from the hotel picked us up at the airport in a very comfortably car. ... I was worried that it would not be as good as on the website. This was not the case and I was delighted. It was quiet and within walking distance to all major sights in ancient Rome. I even needed a doctor and one came to the hotel very promptly and gave me the help I needed. ... Everything went exactly as expected. ... no ... Small, nice hotel on a quiet little plaza within walking distance to all major sights. I would use WorldBy.com again.

Ideally situated, central to tourist attractions. Spotlessly clean, but we were accommodated in the annex, and it would have been difficult to get out in the event of a fire - we were up three flights of marble steps, the second two quite narrow. However, we would recommend the hotel and will stay there again when we go back to Rome.

Breakfast not very garnish, no fruits, not a lot of cheese, pastry but no bread. ... They kept my lugage all day on my last day. Very nice, but forgot shoes in the room which they had time to tell me about! My mistake! ... It is OK. No noise form the street. Can hear the other rooms but we had good neighbors (Luky).

Some difficulties to find the hotel, because it is small one and building is not different to others. Hotel is well located to reach all the attractions in Rome.
... The noice of traffic and people during the night time is my only real complain. Window of the hotel room doesn't prevent such a noce. I told my commets to the staff during my stay. Breakfast is simple. Hotel is very clean. ... Point 13. Generally speaking the hotel prices in Rome are high comparing to the quality.
... You say 'all the rooms are very quiet and romantic'. This is not true if we talk about room number 1 in the annex. Please, remember my comment about the street noice coming in until about 2 a clock during the night. ... Well located , clean and friedly small hotel, personally I didn't like the street noice. Breakfast is very simple but fresh.
