The staff were really friendly and helpful. The area was great - not too touristy, so many fantastic cafes and restaurants and in walking distance to almost everything you would want to see and do.
...
The staff booked a taxi for us
...
No, all ok
...
Friendly, clean, helpful and very central to all of Romes attractions. Felt like you were staying in someones home and were part of the family. Gave you a taste of real Roman life, not too many tourists around. A short walk to many beautiful restaurants and cafes and the markets. Fantastic experience.

I went online and read other visitors comments regarding where the property was. I knew it was not labeled well outside, but I knew from all the satellite photos which corner of the piazza the B&B was in. I suggest to include that it is located in a building on the far northwest corner of the piazza san Cosimato.

...
We had a wonderful time. We were there for 9 days over New Years. Some of the receptionists did not speak English as well as the web site stated, but well enough to get by. We basically became locals while staying there.
...
No problem.
...
Cozy. Not a place to stay if you are not willing to walk some. We walked a lot but were also quick to take the tram and buses whenever possible. A great place to stay if you want the feeling of being a resident of Rome. Not a place to stay if you are looking for the plush catered to feel of putting on the ritz. The spaghetteria across the street from our room was noisy late at night. But one visit for dinner there for ourselves and we felt right at home. The noise then became the noise of our friends and falling asleep became easy (my friend used the earplugs we received on the plane). We stayed in the Gauguin room. It is not a huge room but more than enought to be comfortable. After all we were in Rome and who wants to spend the day in the hotel room. The place was clean and comfortable. The beds were perfect-firm and we slept well. I already have hopes of returning in a few years and hope that Tamara suites will be there for me. I would certainly stay there again. Molto bene !!

The hotel is situated next to a square where it can be very noisy in the evening/night.

rooms are very clean and spacious! there was someone at the front desk at all times, they were friendly but spoke little english. They were not able to give recommendations on places to eat. Breakfast was served in the room each morning. Yogurt and milk was a little warm for Americans tastes, but great cappuccino! I would definitly recommend Tamara's suites to a friend.

The receptionist was wery helpful and polite. He also had a good sence of humor wich we enjoyd.

...
We had been told by our daughter about the hotel. It was as we expected, nice. We did like that the hotel was sited in Trastevere. We are not the people who like the very big and exlusive places, we like to live among the citizens.
...
It is not very easy to find because it dont have a hotel sing. It has a elevator but it is very small and old. The piazza outside the hotel is nice, with a marked every morning that sells fruit and other 'stuff'. It can be a little noisy in the evening but you are in Rome!
...
I would say it was a nice and ok hotel comparing to price. Trastevere is a very nice part of the town. Not far from the highlights. We did walk every dag and did not take a buss or taxi or other transport during the day. When we got home to the hotel in the afternoon and had a rest,we could just get outside the door to find a resturant or pizzeria when we were hungry. We liked to eat at the small places around the hotel. It was cheep and good homecooked food.

On the web site the rooms looked bigger than in reality. That was a bit of a disappointment. We got the Van Gogh room.
But I must say that the room was very clean.
...
Everything went smoothly. We had a very early check out (4h30am). We asked to be woken up and we were and the taxi was there right on time.
...
I didn't really appreciate the breakfast but then again this was no suprise as I read before that by Italian law B&B's are not allowed to serve fresh products.
...
A nice place to stay. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Not too hard to find. Its just on the 2nd floor of an apartment building, no 'hotel' sign. Using google maps its easy to see on the satelite picture where it is.
...
Very nice rooms. The van gogh and matisse are pretty small rooms, just enough space to walk around bed.. but thats europe in this price range. Double rooms are larger and more spacious
...
As in many hotels in Italy, the credit card machine was 'temporarily broken' and they would only accept cash. After a long conversation, it was clear that, the credit card machine was in fact working, but the front desk person would 'get in trouble' if he accepted a credit card. We are ok with paying cash, however we weren't expecting it because the website clearly states that Visa/mastercard are accepted. This is a common problem in lower and mid range hotels though so it wasn't a suprise.

Great location, lots of restaurants nearby.
Clean, comfortable, terrific value. Only negative was that there was not anyone to help with luggage.
...
Small refrigerator in the room would be a plus, for those who like to shop at the grocery store, less than a block away.
...
No help with luggage and the elevator is one flight of stairs up from the street.

Only found it because of the helpful commments of another customer who had explained in their feedback that it was the second floor in a building. This was extremely helpful otherwise I could have ended up doing laps of the square.
...
Basic but good breakfast, Rome was hot but the room was very cool from the good air conditioning.
...
Explain that it is the second floor of a building otherwise you may be looking out for a name that is not there. Hotel shouldn;t be embarrassed by this fact and try and hide it as the hotel is gorgous in a great building

Very friendly and clean B&B in a good location. One disappointment was the breakfast - prepacked croissants and pre-packed toasted bread served in the room.
The shower cubicle was also tiny, but nothing that spoilt our stay!

Tamara's Suites is cute and friendly. It is a really good bargain for the budget minded. The rooms are quite small but clean.
You can treated each morning to room service or a delicious cappuccino--a nice perk.
I also liked the location.

Very clean and nicely decorated rooms. Staff very welcoming and extremely helpful, especially with travel arrangements. (helped us find train times and arranged taxis etc..)
Would stay again and recommend, however, the particular room that we stayed in (Van Gough) is not ideal as it is situated next to reception. We could hear people coming and going very clearly and intercom buzzer was very loud!

The room was large and the bed confortable. The bathroom is a bit tight especially the shower, only about 28inch square. However, there was alot of hotwater and water pressure. It was nice to have an in-room safe, although you leave the key with the front desk.

We loved the district Tamara's Suites is in, with so many restaurants close by. The Vatican was about a 20 minute walk away. We would stay here again, but would insist on a room not facing the street. The street noise came right through the window and, being light sleepers, we didn't get a very good night sleep the 2 nights we were there.

The only thing that wasn't so positive: when you enter the hotel, the whole corridor smells like sigarets. In the room whe (luckely) didn't have that smell.
...
A breakfast is given, but the croissant comes out of a pack (isn't fresh) and we didn't have 2 chairs to sit on in the morning.
...
It's position in Rome is fantastic. Trastevere at night is lovely and lively. Many restaurants, pubs, people in the street. Very good situated to visit Rome on foot.

We arranged our own transportation and had to look for building as there is no outside signage, we had to look for name on apartment buzzers outside and it was not very clearly marked.
...
Our stay at Gauguin room was fine for the first booking, the second booking we were placed in Van Gogh room which was very small and feel that price should have been lower for smaller room. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Showers are quite small. Overall pretty good experience.
...
Allowed us to leave our suitcases as flight was later than check out time. Staff was helpful and pleasant enough.
...
No, given a pretty good idea about place on website.
...
Simple and clean rooms for pretty good value in Trastevere area, small bathrooms. Good for brief stays in Rome.

Our room was very small, can't remember if this was on the website. It's just pot-luck, I suppose.
...
We were originally told the credit card machine was not working and asked if we could pay cash - we asked the next day and the machine was working, so we could pay by credit card. The staff were helpful and called us a taxi for the station early in the morning on the day of our departure.
...
It's a great Trastevere location, but this won't really suit first-time visitors to Rome who want a central location close to the main sightseeing. We knew this and were pleased with the location. The room was very small but we were only there for 3 nights so it wasn't much of a problem. The street noise was quite bad, even with ear plugs! It's near a busy market place so noise does start early, and late-night noise continues until around 2.30 as it's near bars/restaurants.
...
Basic, no-frills, but a great location if you want to explore Trastevere.

Always a member of staff on the reception and very helpful
...
The bathroom needed a good plumber. The loo seat was loose, shower head un attached, mastic around the tray missing. Walls in room could do with a touch of paint.
...
The staff kindly looked after our cases until late afternoon when we collected them before an evening flight.
...
Street festival only one day a year directly outside had a very loud evening concert into the early hours.
...
Just off the main tourist route, easy access into the city. Plenty of restaurants quiet (apart from above) nice for evening strolls. Breakfast always the same, with a little bit of work it would have made a better impression. Staff very helpful saw no other guests.

The lady on the desk didn't speak english and so called someone on the phone (the owner I think) and he spoke to us and explained everything we needed to know over the phone.
...
The list in the room stated that there was beer for sale in the reception but there was no beer available anytime during our stay.
The room was very noisy being situated at the front of the building on a busy square.
On a couple of occasions staff came to collect our breakfast tray but we hadn't finished and so because they couldn't take it became very cross with us.
