By plane: Rome has two international airports in the suburbs, Fiumicino and Ciampino. They are both easily connected to central Rome, reaching Termini station by various means of public transport. Once there you will just have to walk to the property.
By car:
- From Fiumicino airport ( 31 km - 35 minutes drive): As you leave the terminal, take the A91 highway and continue along Viadotto della Magliana, Viale dell`Atletica and Via Cristoforo Colombo. Drive towards "Centro" and take Via della Industria. Go along Via Cristoforo Colombo, Largo Terme di Caracalla, Via Druso, Via dei Laterani, turn right in Via dell`Amba Aradam and left in Via Merulana. Take your right in Viale Manzoni, continue along Via Giovanni Giolitti and Via Cairoli. The second street you will come across is Via Principe Amedeo.
- From Ciampino airport ( 13 km - 25 minutes drive): Take roads SS7DIR and SS7 before driving on to Via Appia Nuova. After you pass Quarto Miglio, you will go by Piazzale Appio and Piazza di Porta San Giovanni. Join Via Emanuelle Filiberto and veer right in Viale Manzoni. Then follow the directions already described.
By train: From Ciampino airport, you can take the Sitbusshuttle, which leaves you off on Via Marsala, near Termini station, in 30 minutes. Once there, walk along Via Giovanni Giolitti, the street parallel to the station, and turn right in Via Cairoli, up to Via Principe Amedeo. From Fiumicino, there are direct connections by train to Termini station. |
