Alessandro had a car and driver meet us at the airport to bring us directly to the property. It was very helpful not to have to worry about getting a taxi or train.

The location is in an upscale neighborhood, which is very quiet and safe. Being out of the center of the tourist areas was a major plus for us; we wanted to experience the real Rome and meet the warm and friendly people we've heard so much about. It's an easy walk to the Metro and local stores and restaurants.

Alessandro is an excellent and accomodating host. He provided much information on the area as well as on Rome and Italy in general. He also provides free internet service which allowed us to keep in touch with family while traveling.
The building and setting is very elegant. It is secured by keyed gates, to which guests have a key for easy access no matter what time you may want to come/go.
The pictures on the website are an accurate picture of the rooms.

Lovely rooms; friendly service; good breakfast, simple but sufficient in the Italian style. We could walk to excellent restaurants, which Alessandro recommended, frequented by locals for the most part. Prices were moderate; service was friendly; food was wonderful.
Easy walk to Villa Borghese Park and Museum.
We will stay there again on our next trip to Rome.

Breakfast could use a little variety, otherwise it was satisfactory.

An impecable townhouse in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood, that is only 5 minutes walk to the train for easy transportation to the historic center. Nearby are excellent resturants and even a supermarket. Precisely what I was looking for!

Manager was not there, but he had arranged to have his parents greet us and everything went smoothly.

Located in lovely exclusise area - not normal tourist area. The linens were very high quality and there was lots of storage stace. Only negative was no English TV station.

Alessandro met us at the time we had previously arranged. He provided much very helpful information about our stay at Suite Oriani as well as transportation, places to visit, restaurants, and other services in the area. It was very helpful!

The rooms were clean and beautiful, and very well maintained. The breakfast in our room each morning was on time and very good. We very much appreciated the thoughtful services that were provided.

I would enthusiastically recommend Suite Oriani to anyone. It was such a beautiful facility, and a very nice and quiet location. When we return to Rome, we hope to stay at Suite Oriani again.

Breakfast was quite minimal, but that is consistent with other Italian B&B's and therfore not a disappointment.

Compared to other accommodation in Rome, it was excellent value; however, you must be aware that you are somewhat removed from the core areas of Rome that most tourists want to visit. The core can be easily reached by a 10-12 Euro cab fare in 5 minutes or a 1 Euro train/Metro connection, which takes about 20 minutes from walking from Suite Orianin to the train station and making the connections and arriving at the Spanish Steps. Thus the lower price than staying in the core but using transit was relatively easy and safe. The other positive trade-off is by being out of the core, it was extremely quiet at the B&B for a good night's sleep.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, safe and a very reasonable value. You are outside the core tourist area and must either travel to it by train/metro(1 euro per person and 20 minutes) or by cab (10 Euros and 5 minutes), but both are easy to do. It was about a 12 Euro cab fare from the Termini train station to reach Suite Oriani. I would stay there again rather than paying up to twice the price to stay in the core at a 3 star hotel or B&B.

Even though we were delayed 12 hours and
arrived at midnight, Alessandro was very
kind and accommodating. We enjoyed Suite
Oriani so much that we will return every
time we return to Rome.

We loved the view, the room, the cappucino.

Again, Alessandro was kind and made sure our
driver picked us up on time for our cruise
departure. Really enjoyed our visit!

However, one problem for future guests. The
shower was a bit of a problem and it should
be stated (somehow politely) that if a very
large person checks in this room they will
not be able to take the shower as it is so,
so small. We are averaged size people and
it was very difficult taking a shower.

Like staying in a personal friend's villa.
The location was great even though it was
outside of main Rome. We enjoyed staying in
the neighborhood and dined with the locals.

Technically the voucher stated that I would receive the luxury room but instead I received the standard. However, I decided to not bring the topic up.

I did not enjoy having our luggage 'held' outside the front door. Renata told us to place it outside and I thought they might move it to somewhere safer, but they werent. I know it's safe to leave it outside because of the gate, but our luggage got dirty and I was not happy about that.

The stairway up to the rooms can be very loud since the sound bounces off the wall too much and can be heard very well inside the room.

Was very clean and nicely decorated. Is a little far from the city center, farther than I thought. Was more of a hassle to have to take an additional train to get to the places we wanted to visit.

You need to provide 'Not applicable' options!
We used the suite's driver service from the airport, therefore I cannot comment on your directions. Of course Rome is a daunting city for first-time visitors, so even the clearest directions might be difficult to follow.
We were very pleased with Suite Oriani, and found it to be a perfect introduction to Italy.

The only service which was sometimes not available was wireless, but it was always provided upon request. Services provided were personal and above and beyond expectations.

A wonderful, characterful, restful room in a lovely area, away from the chaos of the inner city. It was so nice to have vegetation around the suite, and to feel entirely safe walking the streets at night after dinner. Also, quite convenient to all sites by metro and/or bus.

It was difficult to find the property since the street name changes. Many people we asked for directions were not familar with the street, even though we were very close to the location.
Your service, romeby, was very easy to use and helpful in securing our reservation. We will certainly use the service again.
Alessandro, at Suite Oriani, was helpful in providing needed information as to transportation and restaurants in the Parioli area. The townhouse was very nicely appointed and comfortable. We were told we would have a very small room, the only one available, at the time of booking. Even so, we found it to be small, but lovely.

Clients should be aware that there is no bellman to help with luggage. That the host will make arrangements for transportation to and from the airport, if requested. We found the rate to be both reasonable and very comfortable.

You are very much on your own after check in. The host is not at your disposal. However, we feel that this is part of the charm of staying at this type of accommodation, you are essentially living in a neighborhood of Rome, as a native would.

Suite Oriani is located in a lovely upscale area of Rome, where ambassadors live and some embassies are located. It is a seven or eight euro taxi ride into Rome. Still reasonable, compared to the economical room rate, you are still saving quite a bit of money. The Metro is only a few blocks, as is the taxi stand and restaurants. The townhouse is very well appointed and very clean. More so than many hotels we've stayed at in Rome.
If you have visited Rome a few times before, the Suite Oriani is a very pleasant new experience.

When we arrived we were greeted by Alessandro
and given all the relevant information regarding our surroundings, restaurants,transport etc. Most helpful.

There was no mini-bar-fridge which was advertised and tea and coffee making facilities would have been greatly appreciated.
