the accomodation is absolutely recomendable - we really enjoyed the days there - as I have been many times to Rome before and have quite much experience with hotels there (rather bad than good) I was actually really surprised by the high standard of this accomodation.

Sharons B&B was an absolutely beautiful and comfortable place. I somehow got the wrong directions online - I was told a bus stop that didn't exist on the line I was to take. But, I am sure Sharon would gladly clear up any confusion before your arrival.

I would highly recommend Sharon's B&B. The beautiful, not touristy, neighborhood with its small bakeries and pizzerias, as well as close internet access, was so lovely. It requires a bus ride into the more main part of the city, but it was well worth it for such a beautiful place. Sharon was also very helpful with any questions I had for her each day. This was my least expensive stay in Italy, and by far the best.

Again with the bus stop. I was told Piazza Bologna when the stop was Tagliamento. Simply email sharon where to go, and I am sure she would help. I was traveling alone and as a 20 year old in a forgein country, I was glad to feel safe and welcomed.

Beautiful room with a queen size bed, nice window, hardwood floors, and a beautiful bathroom. I had several rolls and cakes ready for breakfast each day. I felt like I had a home to return to each night, not an uncomfortable hotel.

I would recommend making the map (indicating the location)more clear. I think it's important to recognize that Sharon's B&B is far away from the city center.

The only disappointment was the hot water situation. The shower didn't provide substantial hot water for two people. It also was either extremely hot or cold. For the nightly price, I expected hot water.

The place was very nice, comfortable, clean, etc. However, staying closer to the city center would be more ideal if we were to stay in Rome again.

The owner speaks perfectly both English and Italian, which was helpful. In other hand the owner doesn't live there which can be either positive and/or negative depending the point of view. Positive if you like privacy and less interaction. Negative if you like to feel like at home and interact with new people.

Privat and quiet.
Clean.
...But be prepare for a 'continental breakfast' that wont go too far! (It was quite too little).

Sharon's B & B is placed in a area of rome, where you have the possibility to shop small things, serveral restaurants are very close to the house, instead you don't want to drive again in the city for dinner. The houses in the area are very nice. Some reminds me of art deco. So it is very nice to stay there.

There is a busstop nearby the accomodation, but this stop isn't mentioned in the information online. We had to search for quite a while to get to the accomodation.
We got a very friendly welcome !

One little aspect of criticism... The information stated online gave us the impression that breakfast would be served. In reality, it was a self-service formula. We didn't mind, but we think it should be mentioned in the information online.

sharon's mum greeted us and organised taxis as our stay was quite short.she was extremely helpful and nice and we would stay with her again.however, i think the accommodation is more suited to groups rather than a romantic break for 2, but as we were in a group it was perfect.

from an irish point of view , we thought we were staying in a bed and breakfast traditional style where the owners are around all the time.however sharon's was a lot more private which was great

The b&b is basically an apartment which you share with other travelers, although each bedroom had its own set of keys and everyone was respectful of one another. It's not a negative aspect but definately something people should know. The place is also very near bus stops that can take you around Rome and its attractions.

You get a bedroom within a pretty spacious apartment that is clean but no real amenities or frills. It's perfect for people who don't spend much time in their rooms, except to sleep and shower, while traveling.

only the announced time to drive (10 min.) to down town with public bus, was much more longer (at least 20 to 25 min., we tried it every day a few times).

only the breakfast was dissapointing - wrapped croissants (they don't tasted good) without any marmelade or something else.
the coffee was very good.

that the staff is not available, only for check in and cleaning the rooms.

it was okay and if you don't mind to wait for the wright bus up to 30 min., than you will feel fine.
