We arrived earlier than the check in time but the staff ensured that our room was ready straight away which we were very grateful for.

The standard of accomodation could not be bettered. We have stayed in much lessor quality 4 star hotels.

Clean, friendly, welcoming, fantastic location, felt completely safe at all times and great value for money compared to hotels in this location. Some road noise but its a city so it was expected but nothing significant and I live in the countryside. For those who want to enjoy the major part of Rome on foot this place is a must, you want regret it.

All the informations are correct, the property is in a very nice location, in the city centre of Rome and Mr. Ravi and Mrs. Anita are absolutely perfect!

It is in an ideal location and the rooms (I
stayed in 2 different ones over a 9 day
period) were clean and very quiet. A/C and
Sky (TV) are welcome details; staff was
always friendly and helpful. The doubles are
huge (for Rome). I can't think of any
negatives. The only thing they might improve
somehow is the breakfast situation: it is
served at a perfectly friendly and charming
nearby café, which means you have to go
outside for it. In the warm summer, that was
no problem, and it was fine, but a bit
meagre, even given the simplicity of the
Italian breakfast. It was exactly as
advertised on the site, but hotels in Venice
and Florence at the same price level offered
ample coffee, all the bread/croissants you
wanted, and juice (or even more). I would
think the café could give patrons a larger
serving of coffee, two or more croissants,
and juice (not too much to ask!). So that is
the only thing they might improve, as far as
I can see.

I appreciated very much all the items in the bathroom. They are as a 4 star hotel. Also the mini bar has a large choice of drinks and snacks. The mattress is very comfortable.

A romantic place with a lot of amenities in the room. You can sleep there also if you have lost your luggage I think.

The stay in the Locanda Senatorum was in any way a nice experience. The room was fine, breakfast at the nearby bar excellent and the staff was absolutely great. The concierge was very helpfull to make reservations in restaurants, book transportation etc.
Furthermore the staff (concierge, cleaning) was very nice to our daughter (age 7). It is a very fine pålace to bring children.
We will definately be back.

The shower wasn't working properly the first night. But otherwise, the place was very nice. We really appreciated the small touches such as the toiletry kit and chocolates on our pillow every night!

It would be helpful to have bus maps. The receptionist (particularly the male...I forgot his name) helped us figure out which bus to take each day, but it was a little tricky.

Great location next to Pantheon and Piazza Navona. Not near a metro station, but buses easily accessible. Very clean. They also had very thoughtful complimentary things such as toothbrushes, shaving kit, shower gel, as well as placing chocolates on the pillows everyday!

We arrived very late on a Friday night (00:30) and The Locanda Sentorum very kindly arranged for the keys to be left with another hotel in the same building, which was very helpful.

Arrived eariler than suggested check in time and was able to get in the room, so that was great.

It wasn't so clear about having vouchers for a local cafe for breakfast rather than breakfast at in the hotel. Having said that I really loved going to the cafe for breakfast, it was a really nice place that served lovely coffee and where we could mix with the locals.

Clean, wonderful location, caring staff, huge rooms for Italy, large bathrooms, and much better than any hotel I have ever stayed at in Italy. I have been in Italy for 1-6 months per year for the past six years; this is by far the nicest accommodation I have found. I would definitely return.

We used the shuttle service to arrive at the hotel. The directions for using this service was clear.

We had such a wonderful stay here! It was only a 5 minute walk to the Pantheon, a 5 minute walk to Piazza Navona, a 15 minute walk to the Vatican, and a 7 minute walk to a taxi stand. I would suggest taking a cab to get to the Colosseum.
Renata and Raffi (spelling ?) were very welcoming and nice. Our room was No. 3. We were in the corner of the buiding so we had a view of 2 different streets. The room was large (especially by European standards) and very clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was updated, plenty of hot water, and the air conditioning was wonderful!
Breakfast is either OJ or coffee and a crossiant or breakfast sandwich. The cafe is just 2 right turns away (a 3 minute walk) and the guys that work there are SO NICE! Breakfast is not possible before 7 a.m. because it doesn't open before then.
My only warning is that it is on the 3rd floor and there is no lift. So, if you are elderly or have physical limitations, you may want to consider another hotel.
I would definately stay here again and definately recommend this hotel to others!!

The only slight downside was that the hotel was on the 2nd floor and there was no lift and as we were travelling for two weeks we had quite heavy bags but not to worry a lovely Italian man who lived in one of the apartments very kindly carried our bags up to the hotel for us so we knew instantly that we were going to enjoy our stay!

We asked for a room with 2 beds but got one with a doublebed. Though we gor abig room so we were happy. We would like more informtion such as fixespriceswith taxi 30 euros from ciampino and not rely on expensive services, an experienced traveller won´t buy a privet transfer wich costs much more than a normal taxi.
we also appriciated the nice prices in the mini bar.
the staff was very helpful especially Ravi!
I hope he likes his job and will stay there and get a rise !! or maybe he owns the place.

The thing that makes locanda worth staying compirng to other same price hotels are is the location. I think Locanda should work a little more to give the guests a little extra and not rely on the location only.

The directions were clear to me but the taxi had problems (maybe because of one way streets)and did not leave us off in front of the Locanada. We were several blocks away.

The Locanda was very nice and the staff attentive. My husband insisted it was on the fourth floor since there were four flights of stairs and not the third floor. Great location.

Clean and efficient. Bathroom had great water pressure and hot water. Bed was comfortable. Not much noise at all. Room a little small. Had difficulty getting clothes out of the suitcase at the same time as my traveling companion. Best location ever. Never took a cab or bus or train. We walked everywhere.Be wary of quantity of stairs versus what is posted on the internet.

During our stay we only got to see the receptionist once when we checked in.
As the Locanda Senatorum Town House does not have a breakfast room, they offer coffee vouchers of a coffee shop near by, which is a very good thing. Unfortunately they missed to give us a second voucher for the next day.

We were given a triple room plus a fold up bed. Unfortunately the triple room was extremely small - you not it a suite.

The romoms are small and compared to my parent's B&B (they stayed at All'Obelisco B&B in Rome)there was no comparison. All'Obelisco cost less, had bigger rooms, had a breakfast room.

The French receptionist (I didn't get her name) was great! She was so extraordinary in her helpfulness and warmth. I will definitely stay here again if available. Loved it!
