The Hotel Savoy is situated in the most authentic part of Rome, on the corner of the legendary Via Veneto, in an aristocratic and elegant 19th century palazzo. Situated in a somber and elegant Umberto I style palazzo, the hotel was built in 1886 as a luxurious residence for the upper class. Its name is a tribute to Queen Margaret of Savoy who in the early 20th century stayed at the palazzo Margherita next door. |
The Hotel Savoy made history as the "historical hotel of the March on Rome", and was chosen for the interior of Federico Fellini's film "Ginger and Fred". Today, following the renovation of its facade in 1999, the building has a rather reserved, discreet and elegant look, which fits perfectly with the comfort and class that the Savoy offers its guests. |
With 6 floors at its disposal, the Hotel Savoy has 135 rooms equipped with every kind of amenities. The hotel can also host up to 120 people in one of the 5 conference rooms available for conventions, receptions, meetings, galas or exhibitions. And it is also equipped with a Restaurant and a Bar. |
