We got in super late due to a missed plane and when we walked in the door the front desk person said was friendly and accomdating.

Perfect- shower, bathroom, beds, and view. I loved the high ceilings and for a European hotel, at least in my experience, the rooms where quite spacious! The location was perfect as well, so close to St. Peters square- you can't beat walking everywhere! The street was just as I envisioned a small Rome street and the food was great!

OUR STAY WITH THE HOTEL S. ANNA WAS MARVELOUS. THIS SMALL BUT QUAINT HOTEL WAS MORE THAN ANTICIPATED. THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND AS AN ADDED PLUS SPOKE INCREDIBLE ENGLISH. BEING ONLY ABOUT 2 BLOCKS FROM THE VATICAN MADE OUR STAY EVEN MORE PLEASURABLE. A VARIETY OF STORES WAS WELL IN WALKING DISTANCE. I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND HOTEL S. ANNA TO EVERYONE. THEY GOT AN A+ FROM THIS FORMER TEACHER.

OUR ROOM INCLUDED A PRIVATE FULL BATHROOM WITHIN THE ROOM.
THEY PROVIDED A CAR AND DRIVER TO PICK US UP AT THE AIRPORT AND ALSO TO RETURN US FOR A SMALL FEE.
I WISH THEY HAD BROCURES ON VARIOUS TOURS AVAILABLE IN THE ROOMS.
I WISH THAT THE ROOMS HAD AN ALARM CLOCK
I WISH THE THE ROOMS HAD A LIST OF RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA.

DEAR PAT, I JUST STAYED IN THE MOST AWESOME HOTEL ABOUT 2 BLOCKS FROM THE VATICAN. IT WAS THE MOST QUAINT RESIDENCE AND PROVIDED FOR OUR NEEDS BETTER THAN THOSE MAJOR CHAINS. THE VIEW FROM OUR BALCONY SHOWED US A WONDERFUL LOOK INTO LIFE IN ROME. I WAS AMAZED AT THE CLEANLINESS AND THE VANITIES PROVIDED. THE HOTEL S. ANNA DEFINATELY GETS MY A+

Outstanding--professional in every way. We own and operate a small hotel in The Hague (www.aaahotel.nl) and can learn a lot from St. Anna's hotel management. Absolute attenton to the finest details--breakfast was beautifully served and presented, room decor tasteful and fresh--everything perfect. Receptionists also gracious and helpful. We're looking forward to returning.

Wonderful experience. Close to Vatican City (150metre) and very convenient due to the long queues for the Vatican museum. Quaint little street with wonderful little bars, restaurants and friendly people. Away from the hustle and bustle of Rome, very quite and very comfortable. (We were a family with 2 teenage boys). Great little souvenir shops for the last minute gift. Close to transport. Great breakfast. Better than I expected.

I was satisfied with my stay. the only comment I have is the shower, it does not drain well, water stays - may not be healthy for the feet as other guests may have fungus and can contaminate the water. Otherwise, I plan to go back to this hotel in the future.

We didn´t like that the breakfast room was closed and we had to take breakfast in our rooms, unfortunately, the rooms had hardly any tables where we could put the trayer on. So the breakfast situation was poor.

I expected to be in a single room for two nights, while waiting for my parents to arrive. Instead they offered to put me in a roomy triple right away so I wouldn't have the hassle of moving. Exhausted from traveling, I greatly appreciated being able to settle in.

The gentlemen at the reception desk always greeted guests with warm smiles and went out of their way to be helpful. They patiently provided directions and answered questions.

The S. Anna is a charming, spotless hotel in a safe neighborhood with dining options and other conveniences readily available. Proximity to the Vatican makes a visit to St. Peter's, the Vatican museums, or one of the Pope's outdoor blessings extraordinarily easy to accomplish.

The hotel sent me an email letting me know that they could book a car for me, from the airport to the hotel. The price was reasonable and the taxi was waiting when we exited the airport. Very convenient.

The staff was wonderful. Very friendly, very willing to help us with our painfully inadequate Italian. The room was beatifully clean, the bedroom could use an 'update' but the bathroom was pristine.

As far as I am concerned there is no where else I would stay in Rome.

The lift was being repaired but this was a minor inconvenience, the staff more than make up for any problems.

Das Hotel S. Anna ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um Rom zu erkunden. Der Petersdom, -platz, die vatikanischen Museen etc. befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Eine U-Bahn-Station ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen. In der Umgebung des Hotels gibt es reichlich Möglichkeiten, sich zu verpflegen - kleine Geschäfte, Lokale (Ristorante, Pizzeria, Trattoria) und Bars. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, das Personal äußerst freundlich und hilfreich, das Frühstück ist prima. Unser Zimmer lag absolut ruhig zum Innenhof gelegen, und die Betten bzw. Matratzen waren ausgezeichnet.
Hier stimmte einfach alles! Wir würden hier sofort wieder einkehren und haben das Hotel auch schon weiterempfohlen.

I would highly recommend Hotel S. Anna. We had a very spacious room with a balcony, large bathroom, and air conditioning The breakfast and service at breakfast was excellent. The front desk staff were very helpful. It was less than a five minute walk to St. Peter's Square.

we were given a twin bedded room and offered to move to a double bedroom on our second day. We had a look at the double room but preferred to stay in the twin bedded room as it had a small balcany

Once we got to the Hotel, everything was great. We arrive in Rome after dark and the street signs were hard to read. Getting to the Hotel was an adventure.
