Very welcoming and helpful on our first visit to Rome pointing out places to eat and visit. ... A lovely private B & B, nicely decorated and with very helpful staff. The breakfast at the cafe with the locals gave you an authentic taste of an Italian morning!!! We would recommend without hesitation!

We found it to be in a good location. We walked almost everywhere and found that we had no problems. ... The room was slightly small, but we had a lot of stuff. It was not a problem.

The property was as we expected from the website, the helpfulness and attentiveness of the staff at San Jouan was the main factor in our enjoyment stay and we would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment. ... The establishment is not right in the middle of Rome but convenient nevertheless. It is clean and well kept and beautifully decorated. The staff are wonderful and I can't praise them highly enough.

More details about where on the road the actual entrance to San Jouan is. We walked past about 6 times before we asked someone.
Need to state about the colour gates on entrance and that you have to buzz. ... Ideal as a base for site seeing in Rome. Comfortable place and helpful staff.
