We informed the hotel that we would be arriving early but our rooms were still not ready and were left waiting unattended for 30 minutes. on arrival at hotel the porter took our bags to the baggage room but gave us no ticket or information as to where they were been kept.We waited another 30 minutes patiently for our bags to be delivered to our room but no joy so I had to go down and and collect same .NOT A GOOD START !!!

Overall superb hotel ,enjoyed every minute of the break and felt very important to stay in the hotel in the company of the President of an African Country!!!

We pre-booked an taxi for 9.15am which arrived exactly on time and the concierge was excellent in his handling of the situation as another couple tried to claim our taxi.

Luxurious spacious rooms ,comfortable beds and beautiful balcony over looking Via Vittorio Veneto.

I would say the hotel has a great old world charm as well as a great location. The staff were very helpful and polite, and I would recommend anyone to stay there.

only one very slow lift at rear of hotel servicing the 6th floor
