It would have been difficult to communicate with the lady of the house because she did not speak English but luckily we both spoke Spanish so it worked out fine. Very friendly and helpful owners of the B&B.

Finding a street as small is hard to find in Rome anyways. I had to call once from the airport to say I will be late (because the cleaning lady is there once a day), twice from the metro station, for the directions, then a third time to ask which button of the intercom is the Romabana apartment (no button is marked Romanana and for that matter there is no sign about this on the street or even on the flat). No maps of Rome could be provided at arrival.

Romabana was like we have expected, a three room apartment, in a flat, with private bathroom, a/c. Doors were poorly soundproofed and the shut/open noise from other rooms were loud. Confort was ok, furniture and bathroom pretty standard. But, the 'continental breakfast' at a near cofee shop, consisting in one patistry and one capuccino is far from a real breakfast that a tourist need while starting a day in Rome.

Breakfast is just a piece of patistry and one cofee. A small direction map to the accomodation would be useful, and of course a sign at least on the property.

Good because it was near the metro station and near a good restaurant. Nice neighbourhood. Quiet and confortable room, with standard facilities. No maps, no reception, buy your own breakfast.

Romabana is not really a B&B. I would consider it a self catering room. The room is not serviced each day and breakfast is self catering. The owners do not live on the property. They check you in on arrival and you pay then, the owners are not on the premises at any other time.

The size of the room was fair.
It was promised that the room will be cleaned after 3 nights. It has not happened.

We were provided with two opportunities concerning our breakfast:
1) we should go down a nearby bar and have there a morning coffee (or equivalent) plus 2-3 croissant.
2) breakfast in the room.
We chose the second option. It was really tragical. We were provided with the following for 5 nights:
- 10 tea filter
- 10 small Nescafe
- 10 0.2 litre peach juice
- 14 fet toast (pre-packed)
- 14 small jam
We found it extremely poor.
It was promised that the room will be cleaned after 3 nights. It has not happened.
At one of the nights, a late check in happened at the enighboring room. The host was extremely noisy - at 11 p.m.

Value for money, if we not consider breakfast.
