Good place to stay, secure, well placed, excellent tram system just outside door!!
Good value for money, great staff, and different rooms to usual hotels, nice, trendy, modern.
I would stay here again without doubt.

The hotel provided little soaps for the room
& the shower curtains were broken.
Furthmore, the room was quite dusty.

The Ripa hoel is possibly not as good as it
would like to think it is, but the beds are
very comfortable + it is sitiuated off a
smal back street in Trastevere, which makes
it one of the few hotels where the noise of
the traffic won't wake you up.
It also hapens to be sitiuated in the heart
of Trastevere, where you'll find some of the
best and cheapest food in Rome.

we checked out at 6am...it was handled very quickly

great space and the rooms were designed very comfortably...only regret was the view of the neighbors courtyard...request a corner suite.

We both enjoyed our stay at the Ripa hotel as all of the staff were lovely. We walked everywhere and found the hotel ideally situated. Also, we loved Rome.

I was moved to a Ripa property across town (es. hotel)for 3 of my 8 days, allegedly due to rain damage to rooms. While the es. is a 'better' hotel and I paid Ripa rates, I wanted to be in my original location since I was visiting my son.

If the Ripa's dining facilities are described on the web site, I missed it, and their dinner is FABULOUS.

By Rome standards, a good buy and if one wishes to be in Trastevere, a good location. Have a dinner in the dining room! Staff is helpful and eager to please. Try to ignore the view of the building next door, which looks as if it was transported from Bosnia after the bombing.

Overall a great hotel. The breakfast was one of the best i've had in Rome. The restaurant is also a club/wine bar that attracts a very beautiful Roman crowd. Its great to have such a place in your hotel if your too tired for a big adventure in the evening.

I found the place very cold and unwelcoming - almost sterile.

Facilities were exactly as described but as I said before it is extremely unwelcoming - the staff need to improve their attitude in general.

It is certainly not a friendly place to stay. Example, not once while I was there did the staff in the restaurant speak to me at breakfast - not even a 'good morning'. I would expect this to be standard as it is in all other places I have stayed.

Only stay there if there is not another option as it is expensive for what you receive.

We found the area around the hotel very interesting and enjoyed walking everywhere.It was also quieter than across the Tiber and the Ripa cafe was a perfect place to relax after busy afternoons - great espresso, cold beers and snacks . The hotel was quiet, the rooms were restful and appealing and breakfast was excellent.

You can travel from Rome airport to Trastavere by train for only 5 euros and then catch a taxi to Hotel Ripa.

Greatlocation.
Easy to get to by train/taxi.
Interesting area.
Ambient, spacious rooms tastefully decorated.
Quiet and peaceful.

We arrived before check in time and were very pleased when they were able to secure our room for us early as we were exhausted from overseas travel.

Room very comfortable and pleasant. Only odd thing was that there was still some construction going on in the atrium.
Breakfasts were wonderful and breakfast/restaurant area very pleasant and airy.

We arrived at 09.30 AM and it was before check in time. But we could leave our luggage and check in seven hours later and there were no problems.

The breakfast was not very satisfying. For example it took a long time to get bread when the basket was empty.

Interesting design, clean, pretty close to 'everything' (at least within walking distance). Quite good actually!
