In the apartment there is a computer at the disposal of guests with high speed Internet connection and free of charge for guests to use. There is satellite TV, a CD and DVD player, a washing machine and a fully functional and equipped kitchen. We organize also tours to museums, we can book tickets for you, cooking classes and many other things. |
Pick-up service: upon request, we also provide a pick up service from Rome International Airports in both Fiumicino and Ciampino, with air conditioning taxi for up to 4 people. For reservation, please, send your flight details. Tours: we organize sightseeing tours around Rome, Ostia Antica, Castelli Romani, Tivoli; full day excursions to Assisi, Naples, Capri, Pompei, Sorrento and Florence. |
 Events: on request we book tickets for you for all the events in town, including Papal gatherings on Wednesdays. Please book it well in advance. At Residenza Riboty ou will find a very lovely and family atmosphere and we will be always ready to help you. |

The Vatican and Sistine chapel are all within short walking distance from the apartment. Piazza Venezia, the Colosseum, Piazza Navona and Campo de' Fiori are all easily reachable by public transport in no more than 10 minutes from our apartment. Crossing the lovely St Angelo bridge, you will arrive at the Piazza Navona area through Via del Governo Vecchio, where you will be stunned by the myriad of small antique shops and stores. Those who want to enjoy the fascinating spectacle of Rome by Night will also be delighted to be able to travel back on foot, in around 30 minutes, at any time, day or night, without any hassle. Lovers of fine cuisine will find high quality restaurants in all price ranges and Rome offers a wonderful range of activities for the creatures of the night. Many restaurants, bars and shops are situated close to the apartment. During your stay in Rome, you have a rich and interesting choice of sites to visit and museums to discover. If you are into theatre, you can take part into special events, which are always organized in some of the beautiful theatres in the city. At the end of the day, if you want to eat something good, there are many small and lovely restaurants in the Trastevere area, one of the most fascinating areas of Rome.
Specifically: Within walking distance there are the Vatican Museums, St. Peter's Basilica and Castel S. Angelo - crossing the river in front of the Castle, furthermore, you will be very close to Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori, the Pantheon and all the most important historical sites.
Further than Vatican Museums - an absolute must for any visitor for its huge exhibition of art and its historical importance, together with the magnificent Sistine Chapel, you can visit National Museum of Castel S. Angelo, with its huge collection of weapons, the ancient prisons, the papal apartments and various rooms with ancient decorations and frescoes. Also within walking distance you can find Villa Farnesina Museum, with its ancient rooms with frescoes, paintings and rare prints. Very closeto the property is the Botanical Garden, which is the third most significant in Italy, both for its size and richness in species (more than 8.000). Particularly interesting are its orchids, ferns and exotic plants. A pleasant stroll, from Botanical Garden in Trastevere neighborhood, will take you to the Gianicolo area, surrounded by Villa Pamphili, the biggest in Rome, where you will see the Spanish Embassy, the church of San Pietro in Montorio, built in 9th century, the wonderful Vista of the city, the so called "Fontanone", built between 1608 and 1612, by request of Pope Paolo V, the "Quercia del Tasso", under which the famous Italian writer took inspiration, and the lighthouse, donated by Italians in Argentina. All of these places can be reached either on foot, by subway or buses. We can also recommend a wide variety of typical restaurants and trattorias, where you can taste the typical Roman cuisine at reasonable and convenient prices and several cafés and pubs. The area around the Vatican Museums, between Via Candia, Via Ottaviano and Via Cola di Rienzo, is a very famous shopping district. For those who come by car, we can recommend several garages close to us. |
