Although the room was clean it was in need of decoration. The wall paper in one place was coming away from the wall. It was dull and stained, as was the carpet The bathroom was very nice. ... No ... The Hotel was clean and comfortable. Room and corridor decor very tired and in need of re-doing. The staff were very nice. The breakfast was ok I think they tried to accomodate Uk guests. It was in a pretty good location. A bit on the expensive side though.

Checking in was smooth and easy. They had a porter available to help us with our baggages and show us our room. ... We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rex. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They answered all our questions and tried to accommodate all our needs. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was great too! We will definitely stay at Hotel Rex again the next time we visit Rome. ... Check out was smooth and easy. They also gave us the option of viewing our bill in dollars (rather than in euro) which was very helpful. ... Great place to stay while in Rome. Good value for your money. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the rooms clean and spacious. The hotel is located very close to the Termini Station which makes it easy to navigate around Rome. Highly recommended.

The staff working at the hotel was more than kind and helpfull. Very familiar. ... The only thing we did not like was the carpet on the room. ... I recommend the hotel strongly.

Excellent....receptionist was very poilte and courteous and there was a porter to carry the luggage to the room. We had to wait for 30 minutes for the room to be ready but the room was excellent ... The room was excellent as regards facilities and cleanliness. The air conditioning could have been more efficient...it worked but it was not very powerful ... The staff were very helpful. The porter took our luggage to the hotel entrance and the receptionist called a taxi for us. ... I would recoomend to anyone that the hotel was exellent. when we return to Rome we will stay at the Hotel Rex again..as long as the prices have not gone up too much!!!

The staff were extremly polite and very helpful. ... Hotel Rex was in a good area and everything was in easy access. Booking in and out was very smooth. The receptionist gave us good directions, also booked a restaurant and taxi for us, all receptionist were warm and friendly. I would go back again.

Very welcoming and helpful ... Although we found the rooms quite dark and depressing they were clean and spacious. However it was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff which will bring us back again, nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were a credit to the hotel. Also excellent location. Only negative is that there isn't a restaurant ... Excellent location, excellent staff and apprearance is exactly what you expect from a city centre hotel. However no restuarant so be prepared to eat out (not a hardship in Rome!)

The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. ... Staff at reception were very helpful in recommending restaurants or places of interest. ... Fantastic location as it is close to all the main points of interest. There wasn't any need to use taxis or buses. The rooms are anything special, but this doesn't really affect anything as you hardly spend any time in the room. No natural daylight in the room that we stayed in.

We arrived at 10:30 which was the stated check-in time but we had to wait an hour before our room was ready. Otherwise everyone was very nice and we enjoyed our time there. ... The computer provided was not fully functional and out of date but it was not a big deal.

8: The room was ok in size, quiet, and private, but the carpets both in room and hallway needed cleaning. 9: The room was smaller than the ones shown on the website. ... Good location for sightseeing and getting to/from the station. Nice staff, especially at the reception. Breakfast room crowded and dis-organized. Not enough fresh bread.

We could hear anybody talking in the corridor. ... No ... The hotel is at a great location to visit Rome. 5 minutes to the main station, 10 minutes to the coliseum, 2 minutes to the shops and bus stops but in a very quiet street. The room has all we needed for our stay.
