The door to the actual residence needs to be better marked. I went to the top floor where the kid lady who lives there directed me to the righ place. She says it happens all the time. The woman who welcomed us speaks no English -- we communicated through my very weak Spanish - but she tried hard to be helpful ... The room and the street are very noisy -- especially when Italy wins the world cup. We got very little sleep for two nights -- but that can only happen evey four years at the most. ... As a great location and an unforgetable experience

The room was big but in the basement and therefore very dark. Lighting is inadequate. ... Interesting and unusual place. A complete studio flat in the centre of Rome. Ideal location. Not your standard chain. With all pros and cons.
