| | |  This is a very privileged location for an accommodation in Rome, Via del Boschetto, within the area of Colosseum and the Imperial Forums, since all the major monuments and tourist attractions are easily reached by a short walk or by taking one of the many transportation options on Via Nazionale or on the Termini. You will have the service you need, near cafes, restaurants, wine bar and mini market across the road! The Vatican, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona are all no more than 10/15 minutes away from the apartment by walk. Coming from Fiumicino-Leonardo da Vinci airport: Fiumicino airport has a small 3 track train station from which you can either take the direct train to Roma Termini (scheduled every 30 minutes, leaving on the 7th and the 37th minute of every hour from 6:37 am to 23:37 pm. From the exit of Termini railway station take bus n. 64 or subway line "B", direction "Laurentina" and stop to Cavour. If you choose the bus get off after 4 stops (Nazionale/Palazzo Esposizioni). Then cross the street and take Via del Boschetto. Walk for 200 m and you will find Residenza Il Boschetto al numero 15.If you choose the subway take the B line in direction "Laurentina" and get off at Cavour station. Take Via Giovanni Lanza-Largo Visconti Venosta, take Via Cavour turn right, follow Salita Dei Borgi, turn left, follow Via Leonina for 46 m, turn right, follow Via Dell'Angeletto for 46 m and you will find Via del Boschetto. We are at number 15.
Coming from Ciampino Airport: Take a shuttle bus up to Ciampino railway station and once there take a train for Termini railway station (there is a train every 15 minutes). From the Termini railway station follow as above.

Car Rentals: driving to town is not that easy, access to the historical part of the area around Boschetto House is forbidden and fined (electronical check), and parking around requires payment by the hour (or parking in a garage), if you plan to spend several days in Rome before start your trip by car, a good tip is not to rent your car from the airport, but rent or book your rental for the day you are leaving town, all the rentals, but a couple, have an office and deliver cars in the central train station, Roma Termini, less then one mile away, and the other are just little more distance from here. |
