By Plane
The main airport serving Rome is Fiumicino or Leonardo da Vinci, and international terminal where you will easily find connections to your destination. Ciampino is an alternative, welcoming domestic flights. Both airports have a fluent connection with downtown Rome, so it will not be difficult for you to reach the inn.
By Car
From Fiumicino airport you will have to drive around 27 kilometres (approx. 30 minutes). Take A91 highway and get off at the exit for Roma Centro, Magliana and Trastevere. Continue along Via della Magliana, veer left in Via Degli di Cesare and right into Viale di Trastevere. Stay on this track for a while, up to Piazza Sidney Sonnino, where you must make a U-turn, take your right into Via della Frate di Trastevere. Turn right again in Via di San Franceso a Ripa, Via della Cisterna and left in Via dei Fienaroli. Finally, veer left in Via dell`Arco San Calisto and you will see the property on number 20.
If your plane lands in Ciampino, the distance is the same, as well as the duration of the trip. Get on SS7DIR motorway and go along Via dei Ciampino before getting on SS7. Then, take A90 highway for around 14 kilometres, get off at exit 28 and continue along SS8BIS and SS8. Afterwards, drive onto Via Ostiense and turn left at Via dei Caduti Senza Croce. Continue along Via Guglielmo Marconi and Ponte Guglielmo Marconi, veer left in Via Degli di Cesare and right into Viale di Trastevere. Then follow the directions already described.
By Train
At Fiumicino airport, take the direct train to Trastevere station, the one placed closest to the property. Afterwards get on tram number 8 and get off at Piazza Belli. Once you are on the street, go along Via della Lungaretta and reach Piazza Santa Maria. Cross the square walking below the arc and veer left into Via dell`Arco San Calisto. Otherwise, from Termini railway station, the main station in Rome- you can get on bus "H" and go up to Largo Belli, which is the first stop after Garibaldi bridge. After this, walk as already described. |
