Profile |
This guest house works within a building from the 15th century: this historical construction, made up of a ground floor only, was added modern gadgets so as to guarantee the best comfort. Residenza Santa Maria opened as a lodging for visitors in June 2007, therefore everything is new. At this property you will find only six guestrooms, some of them facing the internal courtyard or the delightful winding streets of Trastevere. |
This is a charming place where to stay during your holidays in Rome, because it used to be the outskirts of Rome and still preserves some its residential characteristics, from the laundry lines hanging from one building to the other to the cobble stone streets and the small alleys making their way in confusing, irregular lines. |
At Residenza Santa Maria you will be steps away from the square that is the very heart of Trastevere, Piazza Santa Maria: here nightlife can be made the most of as in no other place in Rome, there are plenty of cafés, restaurants and pizzerias; and the church of Santa Maria in Trastevere is the oldest in the Eternal City, dating as far back as the 3rd century. |
