 Out of the traffic of the city center but...inside that in 10 minutes by car. We are in Ciampino, a small city close to Rome and at the foot of the Roman Castles. Ciampino is knew for its civil, military and institutional airport from where leave and arrive the Pope, the President and any other foreign Leader.
Residence Diana is set in a convenient location: just 10 minutes by train from the city centre and from each county of Roman Castles. (train can be reached by walk from the residence). Subway (line A), Highway Appia and Tuscolana and the airport can be reached by car in just 10 minutes (taxi and buses are 10 minutes by walk from the residence). The G.R.A. is 1 km from the Residence and it allows you to reach the highways in some minutes. |
From Ciampino Airport:
- By car
The airport is just 2,5 km from the residence, about 5 minutes by car. We suggest you to give these indications to the driver: Out of the airport, turn right, head toward Rome and at the first traffic light turn right, head toward Ciampino. (The airport is now at your right). After three turns, take the underpass on your left and turn right on Donizetti street. Go along that street for 300 metres and after the turn you are in via Verdi, the number 40 is after about 30 metres.
- By walk
We suggest you to take a bus from the airport. They are very cheap and frequent. The bus will take you to the Ciampino Railway Station (just 300 metres from the Residence). Exit: Piazzale Kennedy.
From Ciampino Railway Station:
- By walk
Go out in Piazzale Kennedy, you have on your left the Pharmacy.
Turn left and go over the supermarket Todis, go over the swimming pool Vikingo and then turn left in via Verdi. We are at number 40.
From Fiumicino Airport:
The easiest way to reach us is by taxi (show to the driver our address) and by train.
From the Highways:
When you are on the G.R.A., take the exit number 23 (Appia) then go head straight for Albano (take attention because you'll have to turn right). Turn right and after 20 metres take the underpass. The airport is now on your right. After the third turn, turn left and take the railway underpass and turn right (via Verdi). We are at number 40. |
