How To Reach Us

Coming by Plane:
The most comfortable way to reach us is to ask us to book you a personal pick-up at the airport, as we don't take "the front desk commission", having your chauffer waiting for you at the Arrivals ends up being a much better and reliable service then any taxi, especially since taxi drivers sometimes give unfair rates!
- From Ciampino airport take the bus up to metro A station and then take the subway in direction "Battistini" up to Cipro-Musei Vaticani station.
Once there take Viale Giulio Cesare, walk straight on for approx. 500 meters and you will find Via Candia. We are at number 135 B.
- From Fiumicino airport take the train called "Leonardo Express" up to Termini railway station, then metro A in direction "Battistini" up to Cipro-Musei Vaticani station.
Once there take Viale Giulio Cesare, walk straight on for approx. 500 meters and you will find Via Candia. We are at number 135 B.

Coming by Car:
Car rentals - driving to town is not that easy, access to the historical part of the center is forbidden and fined (electronical check), and parking around Casa della Palma requires payment by the hour (or parking in a garage), if you plan to spend several days in Rome before start your trip by car, a good tip is not to rent your car from the airport, but rent or book your rental for the day you are leaving town, all the rentals, but a couple, have an office and deliver cars in the central train station, Roma Termini.

Coming by Train:
Roma Termini railway station take metro A in direction "Battistini" up to Cipro-Musei Vaticani station. Once there take Viale Giulio Cesare, walk straight on for approx. 500 meters and you will find Via Candia. We are at number 135 B.

Tips:
- Taxi: Use only official taxis similar to any other taxi around the world; they are white or yellow, with a taxi sign on the top and a "COMUNE DI ROMA" sign on the doors. People offering "taxi rides" are illegal drivers and expensive cheaters. Even with official taxis, if you don't feel easy about the amount of money they ask you for, please buzz us before paying and we will be very, very happy to come down in the street to check it. Ask for the receipt with the specification of starting point and final destination cleary written, with amount in euro and taxi licence number and the driver's name, do not pay before it is issued with all details cleary readable. Even official taxi drivers try often to get more money than their due fare, but if they risk their license they suddenly become more reasonable.
- Public transport system: the 75-minute ticket is valid on busses/trams/underground, can be bought at Tobacco shops, Newspaper kiosks, Bars, and have to be validated at the machine on board. Daily tickets are available, and use the same procedure (on sale only at the Transport System Booths, Roma Termini..) There is also a weekly ticket available.
