By plane: It is really easy to reach the hotel from both airports in Rome, Ciampino (29 kilometres away, approximately 34 minutes by car) and Fiumicino or Leonardo Da Vinci (31 kms, 34 minutes drive). There are various means of public transport to get to the b&b easily and fast.
By car: At Ciampino, take the SS7DIR motorway and go along Via dei Ciampino before getting on SS7 and then, A90 highway: stay on this track for around 13 kilometres, till exit "Foro Italico/ Nomentano/ Tiburtino". As you arrive in Rome, take your right into Via della Stazione Tiburtina. Continue along Via Catania, Via Bari, Viale del Policlinico, and veer right in Piazzale di Porta Pia, joining Via 20 Settembre. Turn left in Largo Santa Susanna, and at Piazza della Reppublica go along Via Nazionale. Keep on straight till Via 4 Novembre, where you must turn right. Continue along Via del Plebiscito, veer right in Piazza S. Andrea della Valle and again in Corso del Rinascimento. After Piazza Madama, you will not be able to drive anymore. You must turn left in Corsia Agonale and you will end up in Piazza Navona, where the hotel stands on number 71.
If your plane lands in Leonardo Da Vinci-Fiumicino airport, get on the A91 highway towards the signs indicating the A1, Via della Magliana and Grande Raccordo Anulare. Continue along the A90 highway and get off at the EXIT 1 "ROMA/ AURELIO/ SS1/ AURELIA/ E80/A12/ CIVITAVECCHIA". You will soon arrive in Rome, where you must turn left in Via Gregorio VII, go on straight till you cross the river, and continue along the street parallel to the river, Lungotevere Tor di Nona. Turn right into Piazza di Ponte Umberto I, take Via Giuseppe Zanardelli and turn left in Piazza di Tor Sanguigna. You will not be able to drive anymore, so you will have to turn right in Via Agonale and walk to Piazza Navona.
By train: From both airports you can reach Termini central station, either on the Leonardo Express leaving from Fiumicino or the Sitbusshuttle Bus at Ciampino. They both reach the train station in 30 to 45 minutes: once there, you may take a taxi to the hotel or get on bus number 64, which leaves you off at Piazza S. Andrea della Valle. From here, walk along Corso del Rinascimento and after Piazza Madama, turn left in Corsia Agonale and walk up to Piazza Navona. |
