The hotel was ideally located, central to all of the places of interest we wanted to visit. It was nice and quiet, despite being in the centre of Rome, and we were impressed with the security. ... Staff were most obliging with regard to storing our luggage until it was time for us to leave. ... Nothing comes to mind - everything was fine. ... We would recommend it, with all of the comments used above.

We were very happy with the accomodations at Argentina Residenza. The location is fantastic. The hospitality was great. Francesco recommended a great pizzeria near Piazza Navona and a restaurant in Trastevere that we enjoyed immensely. Would definitely go back and stay at this hotel on a future trip. ... The hotel is on the third floor and so the elevator is necessary for luggage. It is a VERY small elevator but adequate for hauling luggage up or down - one or two piece at a time! ... A very cozy hotel, tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms, great bathrooms with hydromassage bathtubs in several rooms - perfect for unwinding after walking on Rome's cobblestone roads. A very decent continental breakfast - great coffee! Can't beat the location.

Could be difficult to find if we hadn't had transport ordered by the hotel(third floor in the second yard, we had to push a doorbell at the street). ... Extremly good location. Near all the sights. Very quiet and near transport. Very nice and helpfull staff. Close to Trastevere area wich are good for dining.

We were very happy with our accommodation and would stay there again and recommend to others. ... Very quick and efficient, no problems. ... No, it was what we were expecting after having looked at the website and we were very happy with everything. ... Clean, stylish rooms and friendly staff. In a great, central location. You might want to warn people who haven't been to Rome before that the accommodation isn't located on the street and you have to press a buzzer to get into a court yard to get to the front of the accommodation which is fine and normal, but some people might walk past if they're expecting a hotel front on Largo Argentina. We loved it, anyway, and would definitely stay there again.

Trams were a bit noisy in the morning but there is not a lot you can do about that. The location is fantastic - more central than we expected. ... Excellent/Stylish/Friendly/Clean/Great location/Comfortable/ - would highly recommend a stay - the location is fab, just a walk away from all the main sights and super areas for bars and restaurants.

the taxi driver left us at the other half of the street across the main rd, so it took a bit of asking to find out that the hotel entrance overlooked the ruins, which as a landmark would have made it easier to find ... very good location, friendly helpful staff, bed was good,we liked being in room 5, quirky, breakfast fine, carpets will need a clean soon, perfect for what we wanted ... 5 minutes easy direct walk to the pantheon and piazza navona ... unusual roman town house experience, in a great location, quirky stylish rooms and a good bathroom

We specifically reserved (with written confirmation from the hotel) a triple room with privacy between the parents and teenage daughter (loft). When we arrived, the room was rented to someone else. We had to stay in a non-private room until the other people moved out the next day. ... The location was absolutely ideal (central in Rome & near everything). However, upon arrival, the taxi driver had to leave his car to ask directions because the hotel is located inside a locked / gated area out of sight of the street. The staff was exellent and very attentive. The manager, however, was difficult and never apologized for putting someone else in our reserved room. ... I would definately stay there again. ... Great location, quiet, clean, modern, excellent decor, good breakfast, good service.

As with many places in Italy, there is no large sign on the street, only the small sign and door buzzer. It is important to know the street address ... The location is central, with great access to public transportation and within walking distance of many sites. The washrooms are new, clean and immaculate--a treat.

We were absolutely thrilled to stay at this hotel. Our room was quite beautiful and the pictures on this website do not do it justice. I would highly recommend this place because it is well-located, safe, clean, beautiful, and the cappuccinos are fantastic. Because it is a small hotel, they were accomodating and willing to work with us. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great city and the boutique hotel was great! ... We checked out very early so were still sleepy! ... Just about find the place really with it being next to the theatre, it might help people find it better. ... Cool, really nice experience better than staying in one of the bigger hotel and the spa was lovely, if only I had one in the room at home. The power shower was also great.

Although it's easy to get to the location as directed, if it we didn't book the pickup service through the hotel, it would be difficult to find the place. ... It's a wounderful little hotel. Location of the hotel is very convenient. The room in the hotel turned out to be very quiet even though it's on a busy street. ... We love the hotel. ... Although we didn't have any problem finding the hotel, I would highly recommend a bigger sign of the hotel on the street because A friend of ours came to look for us. He found and came to the address but couldn't find the hotel. ... I have done so already and recommended highly.

The hotel is lovely and in a great location. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. ... The website implies there are laundry facilities at the hotel. In fact, there is a laundry-mat in close proximity that the guests may use (and to which we walked without any trouble.) ... Beautiful, in a great location, worth the money.

We were very happy with this hotel and have referred it to friends. Its location was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. We were somewhat nervous about having booked a hotel without a personal reference from an acquaintance, but the Argentina did not let us down. We also liked having internet access. Thanks very much, Will

It was a bit hard to see where to go in the dark, on the note I had I had just the address. It would have been good to give the driver directions that it was next to the theater. ... The rooms were very quiet and well soundproof, you couldn't hearanything that was going on outside, e.g. at breakfast time. The room decoration was also beautiful and rustic, exactly what we were looking for in a non-chain hotel. The staff was helpful and very nice, and there was a bit of a homey feeling to be there, if you needed anything all you need to do is ask. ... There was a 10 Euro difference, but I would count that against all my Cappucino's and don't think that's a real difference. They make absolutely the best coffee!! ... A better way of getting there. Also, include an indicative price to drive in a taxi from the Termini Stazione as well as the airports. We got skimmed by the taxi driver. ... Very cozy but modern, superbly located and the best coffee!!

The receptionist spoke very little English which made our arrival a bit of a challenge, but she tried very hard! ... A great little hotel, very comfortable rooms and wonderful bathrooms. WE loved the location - 5 minutes to the Pantheon, the Forum, Piazza Navona and Trastavere.
Some of the help smoked (A LOT) - which filled the lobby with smoke, unfortunately. ... WE left very early in the morning; staff arranged a taxi. We were told we would have breakfast waiting for us in the morning, but no staff appeared to be awake and no breakfast either. Thankfully the taxi arrived on time; if he hadn't, there was no staff available to help us. ... The location is wonderful although the hotel is a bit hard to find - it's in a back building, and you have to be buzzed in. Might be worth mentioning on the website or in the directions, as it's a bit of a guess when you first arrive. ... A great little hotel in a fabulous location. Chic rooms, big, modern bathrooms (we had a jacuzzi tub!). Just be prepared to muddle through in your rusty Italian, as many of the staff speak little or no English.

Unfortunately I was overcharged by the taxi driver who took me from Termini station to the hotel. I should have known better, as I have travelled widely, but I was more concerned with finding the hotel than converting the taxi fare from Euros to pounds sterling. A taxi from Ciampino direct to the hotel would have cost no more.

it was very difficult to find the building. the email did not contain the address. it took more than one hour to find it! ... excellent. i really lovely place to stay. lovely staff and an unusual change from a 'normal' hotel. ... maybe just better information about finding the building. maybe an indication that it is in a residential building as the customer may automatically look for a regular hotel. ... an unusal place to visit, very quiet, friendly and private. great location, great staff, lovely building and facilities.

It wasn't well indicated after the first door, the entry was at the end of the second course and it feels a bit strange, perhaps they can put a sign on a wall to indicate more the way to go. ... Nice place in the city center, well located, calm and pleasant

You enter into a courtyard and there wasn't very clear signage as to where to go. We asked the porter who directed us through to the second building where you then buzzed to be let up. This information would be useful in the instructions. ... We were delighted with our room and our stay. It was clean and gorgeous to stay in. Very comfortable. ... We left very early on the day we were leaving. We settled the bill the night before and a private taxi was arranged for us to go the airport. Our only comment was that we were up and ready to go at 4.15 a.m. but there wasn't a receptionist up and we were locked in with the car waiting downstairs and started to panic. Finally the receptionist appeared looking sleepy! It would have been better if he was up and waiting for us. ... Not applicable. ... Excellent, well located, beautiful boutique hotel that was a delght to stay at.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Argentina Residenza. It is VERY hard to find, but other than that, everything was great. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. ... The room we stayed in was a little dark. ... A computer with internet access was available. A sign announced a 6 euro charge for using it during any length of stay. I was not charged and I think it is odd to charge for this service in such an expensive hotel. ... Room was not ready, but we were early and so weren't really expecting it to be ready. We were able to leave our luggage until the room was ready. ... The room was pleasant, clean, relatively spacious, but too noisy - we had to sleep with earplugs because of the street noise.
Also the DVD player in the room did not function 100% well - it was not possible to adjust the sound to the required volume and the picture was jumpy. ... We wanted to be able to check the bill before signing, but we could only check it after signing! But it was okay. ... modern but with a certain charm. breakfast is quite light and simple compared to a hotel clean and stylish with good fittings and fixtures rather expensive central secure

We felt the staff's English had something to be desired. Many people worked at the front desk, it was difficult to establish a rapport with any of them. There were a couple of times when the person on duty was on the phone, which appeared to be a personal call and we had to wait for service. ... The person on at checkout time had difficulty with checking us out. ... It was a great location. Somewhat confusing to get in and out of. It was a chic boutique hotel.

Difficult location to find. Better and detailed instructions, including landmarks ( across street from Teatro Largo, entrance near street car stop ) would habv been helpful ... Location in city was good for sight seeing, city noise a bit of a problem at night, accommodations were spartan but that just may be a cultural difference ... Meager breakfast-- not really worth mentioning as a plus. Phone in room did not work and no one would fix it. BED WAS LIKE A ROCK-- SHOULD REALLY UPGRADE THIS PIECE OF FURNITURE !!! ... Recessed off main street in courtyard. be prepared for entry into what appears to be an office building. Small 3 person elevator in what loks like an office building. ... OK place-- not what you would expect but not bad-- great city location for sight seeing. Probably better accomodations eleswhere

The hotel is difficult to find, with no other indication as to where it is other than the small label (as you would have for an appartment) on the doorbell. ... Much is made on Tripadvisor about the rooms being soundproofed. They may be from each other, but certainly not from the street. We were kept awake with the sound of trams and people well into the early hours of the morning, (the windows were tightly closed). On departure, two other guests were complaining both about the noise and the expense of the accomodation. ... It would be totally impractical for anyone in a wheelchair. ...
