 Hotel Primus Roma is located in the Piramide area really close to Testaccio and to the Aventino area. The Aventino, a tranquil leafy Rome suburb with mostly beautiful old villas, affords one of the most pleasant walks back to the centre: past the Bocca della Verità, up over the Campidoglio and past the Roman Forum to Piazza Venezia. This is an excellent neighborhood for everybody: walking distance to the Colosseum with its Roman Gladiators strolling about, a quick stroll to the back door of the Roman Forum. Bordering Aventino is the very Roman area of Testaccio on one side, known for its authentic trattorias and Trastevere just a short walk across the river. Although the area is very peaceful, the action is never far away and it is well served by train, tram and buses. |

From Termini Station:
Take the metro Line B direction Laurentina and get off at "Piramide" stop. Exit the Ostiense Station and turn left into "Via Ostiense". On Via Ostiense you will reach a railway bridge, immediately before it turn right into "Via G. da Empoli" and you will find the hotel at house no.11-13.
By Car:
From Highway A1, follow signs to the G.R.A. and take Exit 27 (C.Colombo-C.Palocco) direction Roma Centro and this will take you to "Via Cristoforo Colombo". At the 11th traffic light turn left for Via Circonvallazione Ostiense and continue straight ahead. At the end turn right into "Via Ostiense" and continue till you reach a railway bridge, immediately passed it you should turn left into "Via G. da Empoli".
By Plane:
From Leonardo Da Vinci airport take the train for the centre of Rome, stop at the Ostiense Station (avoid the train that goes directly to Roma Termini without intermediate stops). Now follow indications given "From Termini Station". |
