By plane: Rome has two international air terminals in the suburbs of the city, Fiumicino and Ciampino. They are both easily connected to the centre of Rome, reaching Termini station by various means of public transport. Once there you will be really near the property: if you don`t carry heavy luggage, you may even walk to it.
By car: - From Fiumicino airport: Fiumicino is located 30 km from the inn (a 30 minutes drive). As you leave the terminal, take the A91 highway and continue along Viadotto della Magliana, Viale dell`Atletica and Via Cristoforo Colombo. Drive towards "Centro" and take Via della Industria. Go along Via Cristoforo Colombo, Largo Terme di Caracalla, Via Druso, Via dei Laterani, turn right in Via dell`Amba Aradam and left in Via Merulana. Take your right in Viale Manzoni and once again in Via Matteo Boiardo, where the hotel stands on number 30. - From Ciampino airport: Ciampino is 13 kilometres from the property (approximately a 22 minutes drive). Take roads SS7DIR and SS7 before driving on to Via Appia Nuova. After you pass Quarto Miglio, you will go by Piazzale Appio and Piazza di Porta San Giovanni. Join Via Emanuelle Filiberto and veer left in Viale Manzoni. Finally, veer right in Via Matteo Boiardo.
By train: - From Ciampino airport: You can take the Sitbusshuttle, which stops on Via Marsala, near Termini station, after a trip of 45 minutes, more or less. Once there, you may either walk -if you are not carrying heavy luggage- or take a taxi. If you are on foot, turn left in Via Giovanni Giolitti and go up to Viale Manzoni: here take your right and walk till the intersection with Via Matteo Boiardo. - From Fiumicino airport: There are direct connections by train to Termini station (a 30 minutes trup). You should also consider that trains coming from Florence take around 2 hours to reach Rome. |
