The web site can't possibly describe in the same detail as what my actual stay was. The room had ample space in the bedroom portion but the bathroom is very confined, especially the shower, which was only slightly bigger than I am. The air conditioning unit was not working and the vent in the room was covered with dirt. I am used to a good to fair restaurant when I travel on business. The fact that there is no full-time chef and the bar manager is also cooking gives the impression the hotel is trying to save money as does the fact that the pizza I ordered was actually stored in the freezer. I could have purchased the same in any super market for much less money. I would urge the property owner to consider a full refurbishment of the rooms as the appointments look and feel quite old. ... The hotel is in a great area of Rome. It is decent value for money if you know what to expect. I would tell a friend don't plan on eating in the hotel restaurant and consider the cost of eating in the local restaurants when budgeting for the stay. There are many hotels in Rome and while my week's stay was acceptable, I will seek another hotel the next time I am in Rome.
