By Plane
Fiumicino airport, also known as Aeroporto Intercontinentale Leonardo Da Vinci, welcomes international flights from all over the world: it is placed pretty close to the property, at a distance of 23 kilometres.
Meanwhile, Ciampino airport is the other terminal serving Rome, placed 27 kms from Antico Podere.
By Car
From Leonardo Da Vinci-Fiumicino airport, get on Via Leonardo Da Vinci, take highway A91 and get off at the exit "A1/ Firenze/ SS1/ Via Aurelia". Afterwards, follow the signs indicating "Via Della Magliana", "Alitalia", "Via della Pisana", "Exit 32" and "Exit 32/ Roma". Continue along Via della Pisana, take your left in Via dei Cantelmo and once you reach Corviale, veer left into Via della Casetta Mattei. Still along this track you will pass the town of Pisana, where you must turn right in Vicolo del Conte. The property stands on number 46. (This is a 20 minutes trip, approx.).
If your plane lands in Ciampino, go along road SS7DIR, Via di Ciampino and SS7 before turning right in highway A90/E80. Get off at the exit 30 for "Fiumicino/ A12/ Civitavecchia" and afterwards keep following the signs for "Via Della Magliana", "Alitalia", "Via della Pisana", "Exit 32" and "Exit 32/Roma". Then follow the indications already described. (25 minutes)
By Train
The lodging is quite easy to reach too on public transport. If your flight arrives in Fiumicino, take the express railway service to Termini train station.
Once there, you can get on the metro (line A) towards Cornellia station. This stop is placed 15 minutes away from the Antico Podere, and there is a bus,
number 889, which takes you from Cornellia to a big supermarket ("GS Superstore"), located only 200 metres from the bed & breakfast.
Otherwise, at Ciampino airport the Sitbusshuttle Bus leaves towards Termini railway station, from where you can take the metro and connect to Cornellia stop as it was described. |
