... Never changed the towels during a 4 day stay. Had to request them.

The sheets were dirty, the towels were paper-thin, the room was very small. There was a socket hanging out of the wall near the shower. Th air-conditioning unit did not work properly. ... Very close to main station but what you gain in location, you lose in quality. Only fit for a night's stay as a place to rest your head.

The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the help courteous & helpful. The 'air conditioner' did not do an adequate job the first nights we were there, but it was unusually hot. ... There was a bit of street niose, but that is to be expected in the city - no extraneous noise from within. ... A very good value, easily accessable to the main train terminal, pleasant & helpful staff. A good choice esp considering that it is in the center of a major city!
The restaurant they reccommended was outstanding as well!

Definitly, Spartan in terms of two star value. But it was comfortable and quiet. There was some mildew on the walls in the bathroom that we shared with the other guests on our floor. Other than that it was fine.

The bed was saggy, lumpy and uncomfortable. The Staff office was right outside our window and in the morning the noise from the front office was very loud. ... At first the front desk left a note saying we had to pay cash day before checkout for our stay. When we said that the website had said cash OR credit and that we would prefer to pay credit then they said a 5% discout for cash, which is not what the original note said - it simply stated MUST pay cash before checkout. Made me go Hmmmm. ... In general as a first time traveller to Italy I wasn't aware that it is commonplace for a single building to house several 'hotels' on a different floors consisting of only a handful of rooms. Some obviously are larger and there is a reception desk on the ground floor. It would be helpful if that distinction was made on your website. ... It was clean and had some charm and was conveniently located but was loud in the mornings and the beds were very uncomfortable.

There were two rooms, of which one was quite good, but the other was rather poor (noisy, much smaller and a bathroom with a shower that made the whole bathroom soaking wet. ... Breakfast was served in the room, which is not at all common in Northern Europe; when we hear breafast, we expect a room dedicated to breakfast, not just a small counter.

I ASKED FOR A ROOM RATE BEFORE MAKING A RESERVATION SINCE THE ACTUAL PRICE WAS NOT AVAILABLE ON YOUR WEBSITE. INSTEAD, AN ACTUAL RESERVATION WAS BOOKED (OVERLOOKING MY STATEMENT TO YOU) AT A RATE THAT WAS NOT SATISFACTORY TO ME. THIS OUTRAGEOUS CREDIT CARD CHARGED RESERVATION WAS RECEIVED LESS THAN 72 HOURS FROM THE DATE I INQUIRED ABOUT AND THEREFORE WAS UNABLE TO GET THE MONEY BACK. None ... The room was not very spacious and should have been for two instead of three. ... We were asked to pay in cash despite the hotel having my credit card details. This was sorted to our satisfaction. ... None ... A well positioned, friendly and clean Hotel. The staff were helpful and there English was fabulous.

We did not expect the property to be on the fifth floor only. ... The staff were all very helpful and each of them spoke English which was very nice. The location was very good for what we wanted to do. The breakfast was good. Drinking glasses in the room would be helpful. ... Neat clean and a good location for touring.

I understood that I would be able to pay for my hotel stay with a credit card. The hotel's own advertising says that all major credit cards are welcome. When I arrived at the hotel, however, I was told that I had to pay cash. Also, I was offered a choice between two rooms. One did not have a toilet in the room. The other room did have a toilet in the room, and that is the room I selected. I was fortunate to arrive before the room with the toilet was offered to someone else. ... Charmless, but clean and adequate.
