It is always hard to put across the atmosphere of a hotel on a web site. This is where the Piranesi excels. It is quiet, friendly and helpful and the staff are excellent.

The hotel staff greeted us is a professional and very friendly way. They were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable by recommending excellent restaurants and activities - never too friendly, just right.

The room service staff were exceptional. Very polite, always helpful, bringing fresh towels, turning down the bed and the room and bathroom were exceptionally clean.

I think the Hotel Piranesi is a beautiful, tastfully furnished, charming boutique hotel and is equal to any hotel I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world for a similar room rate. I cannot imagine a better hotel experience than the one we had in Rome. The 10 days we spent in Rome were made even better by our experience at the Piranesi. I have already recommeded the hotel to 2 of my friends who are travelling to Rome in the next 2 months. The Piranesi is in an excellent location, the rooms, staff, breakfast and facilities are faultless. The breakfast room was delightful and the intimate bar with Sergio serving our evening drinks was a highlight of the stay. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were so helpful with their recommendations for restaurants, where to have our hair done, shops to buy ice cream, food markets and sightseeing. They went out of their way to do more than their jobs, they made us feel so welcome. I did have a look at a number of other hotels that had been recommended by travel agents in Australia and the Piranesi was far superior to all of them as far as rooms, staff professionalism, location and value for money.

The help in the kitchen area were very noisy when they cleared dishes at breakfast, and a bit rude.

The receptionist was terrific. We arrived in the rain the afternoon of Notte Bianca and it was hectic but she took great care of us. After we were settled she recommdended a great nearby restaurant and even made a reservation for us.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at the Piranesi and our visit to Rome.

A great location. Most of the best sights of Rome are within walking distance. And no matter how active the city life is outside the hotel is a quiet retreat.

I was taken aback by a change of room and by the reason given, and by the assurance that our accommodation was better. I think it wasn't. Yet on the whole we like staying at the hotel and plan to ask for a specific room the next time and if we can get it we will undoubtedly come back.

Relaxing and perfectly situated. From the hotel, one can easily walk to all the major sites.

Staff expected our arrival and greeted us by name. Check-in was prompt and we were escorted to our (beautiful) room right away. Much appreciated after a long overseas flight.

Staff were unfailingly polite and everyone (front desk, door, restaurant, bar, housekeeping, repair people) always greeted us, coming and going, with a smile and a buon giorno. Elegant Sergio at the bar was charming, polite, and accomodating. The front desk staff happily stored 2 small parcels while we toured for a week and on the day we returned they were waiting for us in our room. They offered us umbrellas during the rain.

Highly recommended. Great location. Very clean, bright, renovated rooms. Our room was lovely, elegant, and immaculate. High maintenance standards. Staff friendly, efficient, and professional. Very good breakfast (4 juices, plain and sweet rolls, cereals, fruit, yogourt, eggs, cheese, cold meats, coffee/tea). The extra spaces (bar, outdoor patio, rooftop terrace) were lovely and we used all extensively.

They will organise transport from the airport for you. If you are getting a taxi into the airport the Limo option is cheaper.

A small but very comfortable hotel, furnished in a way that makes your stay in Rome a very comfortable one. The location is superb. Being situated where it is allows you to wander through the cobbled streets around the Spanish Steps but also gives you easy access to the major attractions of Rome.

The staff was very helpful with information about parking, and returning our rental car - beyond assistance with hotel accomodations and checking in.

We had very specific room requests when we booked our rooms, and the hotel accomodated us in everyway. We were extremely pleased.
We called the desk a few times for things we needed, and the responded immediately.

We had to leave quite early in the morning to catch a return flight, and we got a second wake-up call to make sure we were out of bed! They let us have breakfast early, also.

We've stayed at several hotels in Rome and this was one of our favorites. Piranesi is a very special hotel. The staff are extremely friendly - not just at the front desk, but everywhere throughout the hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the location was ideal.
