| | | The hotel Piemonte is located near Termini , Rome's central railway station, in an area which over recent years has been upgraded and is now the location of ministries, offices, embassies and university buildings.
The area, about a kilometre from Campidoglio , the centre of the city, is well connected by bus and subway to all the places of tourist, cultural and commercial interest.
The hotel was first opened as a small guest house or pensione in 1945, at the end of World War II, by a Piedmontese family who managed it for 35 years. In 1980 the management was taken over by another family who, over the years, transformed it into a charming hotel, yet always maintaining the characteristics of a family-run business in the care of its guests.
During the last remodelling, carried out in 1999, the management further renovated the hotel, equipping it with all the modern comforts to make guests' stay more enjoyable. Pets are not accepted.
The breakfast buffet, with a full choice of sweet and savoury foods, is served in the breakfast room from 7.00 a.m. until 10 a.m.
Alternatively, guests can have breakfast delivered directly to their room.
