The property was marginally not exactly as on the web site

1. The breakfast was fairly basic as were the dining facilities.
There seemed to be a problem with maintenance of the building:
2. We had a very large room and the air conditioning was inadequate for the size of the room or was not functioning properly. We did complain but it was not resolved.
3. We also had a problem with our door in that it would not lock with alot of fiddling. A maintenance man was sent to fix it and left but we could then not get back in for 20 minutes whilst the receptionist had to repramme it.
4. The worst thing was that the lift was out of action for 2.5 days and we were on the 6th floor. I cannot believe they do not have a contract that specifies a quick callout! I dread to think what would happen if you were not mobile. I know this is an ongoing problem as I have since seen this mentioned on past reviews.

Fairly central location, basic but clean with friendly staff. Not suitable if you are not mobile.

There were no indications to get to the reception and it was impossible to have information outside the building because 'Pichierri Hotel' was not on the list of the hotels.

They could tell us before about the possibility of getting a discount on cash payments.

The hotel has an incredible situation in the centre of Rome. You can find walking distance from the hotel all the most important places in the city. Compared to other breakfasts in Italy the one served here is perfect... (even if you cannot expect a great variety)-

Conveniently situated, not too noisy or overcrowded, away from the tourist trail. However, close enough to Central Station and good transport links to the major sights.

My only issue was that the air conditioning in the room did not work very well.

Very good value for money, central, good transport links, easy to find and the staff are very helpful. We booked a family room and this was spacious, clean, modern and very pleasant. The bathroom was also really nice and we were pleasantly surprised. I would recommedn asking for rooms on the 6th floor if possible as these are very nice.

The map on the website is very useful, but there is only a very small sign on the outside of the building itself and no sign on the 3rd floor for the reception of the hotel - we could not find the reception when we arrived. A sign would be useful!

Breakfast was not as expected - we had to make our own toast with a broken toaster and there was nothing else to eat. It was clear that the hotel is not yet fully built, but we felt that a more extensive breakfast should be offered.
The accommodation, however, was very clean and very comfortable.
Also, the hotel never responds to emails - for example, I emailed to say that we would be arriving late and to ask for directions, and never received a reply.

You should include the fact that the hotel is situated on the 3rd - 6th floors of the building, but that there is a lift. Include in your directions that the reception is on the 3rd floor. It would also be useful to include travel advice from Ciampino airport.

The room was really comfortable and very clean, but we could have done with more to eat at breakfast time! It's relatively central, a good base to return to after exploring Rome during the day.

The plumbing was not so good as the hot water failed on the first monring.
The lift is also highly disappointing. I would say that for the size of the building this is the worst feature.
That said, the recpetion was very friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable

Altough the room was clean and beautiful (refurbished), we had a bad experience because the elevator was not working (6th floors of stairs) and the water for the shower was not warm. The breakfast was also very poor.

There was a problem with the hotel the first night and we were told we had to stay at another hotel. However, this did not cost us anything extra except time. Our stay was a very pleasant one.

The approach, entrance hall to the building is badly in need of redecorating. So too is the Breakfast Room, and the choice of food for breakfast was limited - even by continental standards.

The room was very small, smaller than the photographs suggested. It would have been better to describe the rooms as basic and small. Which it was. There is very little storage space, no room to keep the suitcase and no bedside table.
All the things worked - the television and air-conditioning pilots had expired batteries, so we used just one set - so it's either the tv or the air-con!
The best part was the bathroom where the suite was new and good!
Our room was definitely only suitable for a couple who come to Rome for just a few days and spend most of their time on the town. Which we did, and enjoyed immensly.
The hotel is situated very centrally which is very very useful.
Breakfast was served in a tiny dining room which was adequate, however the standard of the breakfast was poor. No fresh produce or fresh sruit juices. Some cheese and ham would have been better, together with real bread.
And a bigger variety of jams served.

The Air Conditioning was not working.
We asked for a wake-up call but did not get it.
It was clean and cheap (its biggest quality).
