Since I stayed in an apartment, there was really no recptionisy, per say, but the 'manager' was there and was perfect. ... Maurizio was hospitable, friendly, and helpful. ... I'd accentuate the size of the apartment; it's VERY spacious! ... Spacious and with all the modern amenities, while still maintaining old-world charm. Absolutely astounding location!

Not your problem: But the arrival conditions at the Temini for flight passengers are really awful! The train arrives at the most remote platform, you walk for kilometers (with your heavy luggage!) and the informations where to find the bus station, buy tickets and so on are not satisfactory. ... Our stay was perfect! ... Ideal for a short stay in Rome

Maurizio arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport so we had a nice trip into the city. I must also say that Maurizio was a wonderful host with alot of important information about the city and sights. It was a fabulous location and the apt. was fine. ... We loved the location but it was very noisy on the street side bedroom, for sleeping that is; I also thought the apt. itself was a little drab and perhaps more color or some fresh flowers would have added alot. ... I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. I would say it was a little dark , the decor, but a fabulous location , wonderful host, and clean!

The photos on the webb are somewhat overpromising. Really nice appartment, excellent location, no doubt. I am sure that a little attention to the state of the furniture and overall implements (chair tapestry, living room cushions, bed cover; furniture in general) would raise the level of satisfaction from 7.5 to 10. Excellent host, great place; it could be a dream with a few bucks !!! ... YES. The number of bathrooms is confusing. I expected one bathroom connected to each room. We had only one for the entire family. ... A totally authentic place to stay right in the heart of Rome. No 'formal' hotel could make me feel in the real atmosphere of a Roman street. Somewhat decaying in the interior and the acces was awful. Still, a very rewarding experience. COULD BE A DREAM.

Some noice from the streets, but what else can you expect living in the middle of Roma.It would have been very good if there had been aircondition in the bedrooms. Then we could have closed the windows at night and the noise would be no problem. ... Superb. You feel you live inside Roma. Prima.

We were hours late getting there from Siena and the Host/Owner was most gracious. He also took the time to sit with us and point out restaurants, pubs, markets and gelaterias that he personally recommended. We actually took a taxi in from the airport and I'm not sure we could have found the aparment on our own. Rome is huge and so crowded--but fascinating! ... This location was absolutely perfect for us. We were only in Rome for three nights and being in the middle of it all was exactly what we wanted. The central location allowed us to walk to everything of interest--the Trevi, the Colosseo, St. Peters, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna and of course the Pantheon. And of course we passed so many unexpected treasures on the way to our points of destination--Egyptian Obelisks, neighborhood churches, many classical Roman fragments/ruins, and the stores! Loved the view out our windows onto the picturesque and busy streets below, and loved feeling like a part of the neighborhood. Spent one long night sitting out on the Plaza waiting for our teenage sons to come home and felt quite safe. The apartment itself was just as shown in the photographs and gave us the space we wanted to just hang out together at night after a long day. Our teenagers enjoyed lounging around on the leather sofas watching TV, and my husband and I enjoyed the modern art and the books in the library. The kitchen was charming and totally functional. A comfortable, stylish and welcoming base for all of us. And finally, Mr. Paolini was most gracious--a real gem. ... Could not have been easier. We left the keys on the table and shut the door behind us. ... One of the best positives was the abundance of restaurants literally steps from the door of the building. We came home exhausted every night from walking for hours on stone streets and it was so nice to have good choices nearby. It was also extremely close to a small grocery store just two minutes away for picking up breakfast necessities, snacks and chocolate. And last but not least, the Tazza d'Oro was right across the street--the best granita di cafe in Rome, along with yummy French pastries and capuccinos for breakfast.
The only negative thing I can think of at all is that immediately downstairs on the corner facing the Pantheon there is a gelateria that thinks it is a discoteque--they play very loud, repetitive music into the night and we could hear it in the morning and again at bedtime. It was muffled but it was there. We all still got a good night's sleep. ... The perfect place to stay for a trip to Rome with family or friends--especially if you are the self-sufficient traveler who doesn't need a concierge or buffet breakfast every morning. It was superb value for the money.

We rented an apartment and were picked up from the airport by a driver that the owner had arranged. It was very convenient and no more cost than a taxi. ... Very nice. We were very happy with the apartment and its location. ... A very nice apartment in a great location with more than adequate space for 5 adults (we had an extra twin bed added). The owner was very friendly and accomodating and could be reached easily if there had been a problem. I would highly recommend it. Thank you, Maurizio!

We were delighted with our stay at the pantheon aprtment and would recommened it to friends(have already!) Maurizio was extremely helpful and pleasant. His recommendations were appropriate and he helped us considerable with lost luggage. He kindly met our daughter earlier than our arrival time and provided and set up a christmas tree with her. A nice touch! ... Dishwasher needed attention but that was the only fault. will hopefully use it again some day. ... Only 1 floor we were expecting 3 so that was a positive. all double glazed so very quiet. great coffee across the road! ... Surprisingly spacious. Amazing location. quiet. 2 very good bathrooms. helpful manager. adequately equiped kitchen.

The only thing we could claim is that the kitchen was not very clean (specially the oven and the fridge) ... The place was very well situated in the middle of the ancient town. Even with the children we could walk all distances. At night, the place was very quit. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Didn't use the directions because we had a shuttle take us from the cruise ship. Shuttle driver got confused finding it. ... Air conditioning is only in the bedrooms, not the living room. I was expecting it to be everywhere. This could make it uncomfortable to sit in the living room in the summer. ... Best location, literally steps to the Pantheon, safe and near all the action, but totally quiet inside with the windows closed. Very comfortable, fully equipped.

As we requested driver service from the airport he was in direct contact with Sig. Paolini and therefore he was at the car to meet us and help with the luggage which was most satisfactory. Sig. Paolini was very personable. ... In general we were very pleased with the apartment - the situation was better than we expected and it was very warm which due to the extremely cold weather was very much appreciated. I would only say that the decor and bathrooms could be a bit more updated i.e. curtains and mats and plumbing. The bathroom belonging to the double bedroom could do with more privacy as my friend who had that room noticed someone smoking on the area outside and felt she could be seen as there were only net curtains. The apartment was also fairly dusty. ... As no-one was moving into the apartment when we checked out Sig. Paolini very kindly let us stay until later (5 p.m.) on the check out day which was very convenient as our flight was not until the evening. ... Stress the fabulous position of the apartment - I can't imagine staying anywhere better! Bathrooms not as modern as expected - not enough hot water for a bath. French doors in double bedroom unusable as not a pleasant rear aspect. ... Slightly gloomy inside (due to dark beams, dark furniture and bedspreads) but lovely and warm despite cotto floors. Amazing situation which I shall never forget - and the best coffee shop in Rome just oposite!

The apartment was great and Maurizio was extremely nice and helpful. However, there is gelato bar just below the apartment and the music booms through the floor until the late hours of the night - not good for the baby. Otherwise, it's perfect. But for the price, I think you should work something out regarding the music. ... Again, the music from the gelato bar was an issue for us.

Of course the location was perfect! and our host was very helpful and pleasant. The apt. itself was a little bit dirty I thought, closets a little dusty, windows didnt shut tight. The shower curtain was kind of icky. ... Well, I found Rome to be very expensive generally, so it is hard to evaluate the value for the money without researching other accommodations in that neighborhood. ... There is a washer, but no dryer. for americans, we assume there will be a dryer when there is a washer. silly I guess. maybe say washer and drying rack. ... spacious, great location, lots of services very close by, great host.
