We have stayed at Palladium Palace before, so we knew the hotel. We will probably use this hotel again in the future. ... Breakfast on top of the building. It would have been nice if it had been possible to look out over Rome. Instead we sat behind curtains. ... Placed in center of Rome. Close to Termini. Very nice inside.

The room was very warm and the noise outside was so loud, the window could not be left open for ventilation.

We arrived 2 hours late due to flight problems. It was 4.30 am but the reception was expecting us which was excellent. ... The staff were happy to look after our bags after we had checked out until our flight time which was excellent. ... Try and get a room at the back as the front rooms can be very noisy with traffic. ... An ideal city hotel well located for all Rome attractions, clean and friendly and good value for money

The rooms were a good size & the bathrooms were above excellent. The corner room (5th floor) had an odor something like sewer back up but if we left the balcony doors open, it would disapate. Our other room directly across had no such odor & was just excellent. The breakfast was very nice. If we called the desk for anything (i.e. ice), it was brought up immediately.
The view from the little balconies was great but the noise from the street since the train station was just two blocks away was very loud and we had to keep the balcony doors closed most of the time.
The lobby was very small and when a number of people were checking in or out, it was a bit difficult.
Even though it isn't the greatest location, I would stay there again. The staff was terrific and overall the rooms were great for the cost. ... Busy street location. Small lobby area. ... Extremely good value for the money. Great Staff. The best pastry shop in Rome was only two blocks away.

The room was immaculately clean, well appointed, quiet and modern in every way. The cold breakfast offered was tasty, fresh and good variety in a lovely three morning room setting. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The location was excellent, only a three minute walk to Termini Station, walking distance to the Collossum and other attractions. We would highly recommend the Palladium Palace Hotel.

The voucher said 2 adult and one child in one doubleroom. The receptionist said that we had to pay for one extra bed or breakfast for the child. So we choosed payimg for breakfast. ... Very good standard, and central location. ... A nice hotel. Central location near Termini. A lot of restaurants and shops nearby. Big clean and quiet room.

Roof bar not open one evening. Gym not open unless special request, not well fitted and a charge applied which was not clear from hotel description. ... Decent hotel if a little pricey, convenient to centre and Termini station. Spacious rooms, although no windows to outside.

We arrived at 1:00P.M. and were pleased to be allowed to check in to our room early. ... The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, although a bit small. Since we weren't in it except to sleep, that wasn't a problem. The mattress on the big bed was very comfortable; the one on the small bed needs upgrading. The bathroom was scrupulously clean and attractive, but it was inconvenient not to have a shower curtain! The biggest negative was the sewer smell that came up through the floor drain - we had to keep the door closed all the time. ... The desk clerk quickly and efficiently hired a car to take us to the airport, which solved a big problem for us, since the trains weren't running at 4:00 A.M. We were called when the car came and bid a warm farewell. It left us with a very good last impression. ... The Hotel Palladium is comfortable, clean, conveniently located, and moderately priced. It has very classy public rooms, with nicely decorated guest rooms that have a cosy feel, and the rooftop breakfast is a real winner. Also, the staff are polite and helpful.

Private transportation to the hotel, directions not required. ... Room was located on street side so not as quiet as others. Poor ventilation with window closed. Good windows to lower sound but nothing can overcome noise of a busy main street. ... Excellent breakfast and facility. ... As a known place to stay with a good location and service. Would stay there again.

I would return to the Hotel Palladium Palace but I would request either a room on an upper floor or a room off the street. In spite of the the 'sound-proof' windows it was noisy and obviously it was only possible to sleep with the windows closed. ... The noise from the street. ... Clean, courteous and very well situated but a significant noise from the street inour particular room.

The Hotel makes a quiet room almost impossible with the traffic and noise outside. You must keep the windows closed at night to minimize the noise. It is still not quiet until around 3:30 AM and only for about two hours. ... A very nice upscale hotel in a convenient but very busy section of the city.

none ... The rooms were fine, but the site had said a roof terrace. It was only open in the breakfast time and I had thought that it would be the bar. It was not, but not a great inconvenience. The rooms on the Via Gioberti are quite noisy and would probably choose a hotel on anothe street next time. Though the location is excellent. ... none ... The terrace is planned to be opened as a bar later on, currently just at breakfast ... A centrally places and welcoming hotel, with fair value (comparativly) for money costings.

Very, very poor breakfast. ... Location is perfect, close to Termini. The room was good, esp. b.o. the very good airconditioning. But as stated above, a very poor breakfast was served. ... I would not recommend it to friends, unless they would not mind about breakfast.

I had booked a triple room. Firstly we were given a room that had a guest in it already. i.e. clothes and bags in the wardrobe. Then we were given a room with a double bed & a small cot bed for the third person, which was not exceptable . We were then given a suite but were only allowed stay in it the first night and had to move all our bags the next day as we were staying 4 nights. We found all this to be very annoying and disappointing. ... Average
