The reception area and hotel generally is beautiful and the arrival experience first class.

two complaints:
1. the pillows were uncomfortable and we had to ask four times for them to be changed for feather pillows which, when we eventually got them, were fine.
2. the hotel needs to make a significant investment in up-dating their hot water supply and bathroom fittings. Bathroom problems would deter guests from re-booking.

The murals in the saloon are breath-taking. The location is excellent, near the bus stp and Termini and a short walk to Spanish steps etc.

Very fine, comfortable, traditional, well-located hotel, highly recommended except for the totally unpredictable plumbing.
