we had asked Angelo to book a taxi for us which was waiting at the airport and on arrival in Rome the driver knew which door was ours - we would have missed it in the dark. Main street is noisy but when windows are closed this is not a problem

Sunday breakfast is in a different place and staff in that cafe were not as helpful over the choice - we were told croissant was the order but not everyone likes sweet things in the morning

We were allowed to leave luggage as return flight was evening but there are only toilet facilities in the rooms which were not available to us - staff arranged return taxi for us but as staff not there all the time it is important to co-ordinate your leaving time

No tea making facilities in the room - bring your own kettle

A nice,quiet hotel with excellent location and helpful personell. We so satisfied with everything that we started to plan new trips to Rome - and of course, to stay in the same hotel then, too!

The contact person in contacted us, by EMail on the morning of our departure from the US as to our arrival time at the hotel. It was very comforting to know that the staff were aware of our arrival.

Alternate arrangements should be made for breakfast when the breakfast bar is closed. During our stay, the breakfast bar was closed on Sunday.

Phone system was not working while there. I need to keep in contact with business while on travel, so generally prefer hotels with good internet connections.

The hotel location near to the Vatican and near to the subway was very convenient. It is an excellent location from which to visit all of the city.

This is a very small 'hotel' located on the fourth floor of a building. Our timing for check-in was unfortunate as the person responsible was on another errand. Once that confusion was resolved everything went smoothly.

Our family had two rooms. Each was tastefully and elegantly furnished. The beds were most comfortable; the bathrooms were exceptionally well equipped, modern and spotless. The daily cleaning was more than thorough. The staff were unfailingly polite, helpful and friendly. The location is excellent and traffic noise was not a problem.

Be sure to have the phone number of the hotel with you as you prepare to check in. Remember that continental breakfast is in the coffee bar across the street.

Le Suite is a delightful 'home away from home'. The location is ideal - walking distance to St. Peter's/Vatican. Metro is only a couple of blocks away. Good shopping close by, coffee bars/restaurants all close. Angelo is a delight. I would stay there again.

There was supposed to be a taxi waiting
for us, but there wasn't one so we ended up
waiting at the airport for quite some time
while it was straightened out. Not sure
what the problem was, but after a long flight
it would have been nice not to have to
wait around.

The room was small but clean and comfortable.
It was convenient to everything, and the
staff were tremendously helpful in
recommending restaurants, laundromat,
busses, etc. Breakfast was perfect.
The staff went out of their way to
help us with getting around Rome.
A few days the hot water ran out, but
that was the only problem we experienced.

It was strange having a bunk bed in the room. But it was very clean and the bathroom was very nice. Overall it was a fine accomodation.

The lift was broken most of the time we were there (we were only there 2 nights) and the hotel was on the 4th floor. That became tedious, but I know they were working on it.

It is good that the site does not mention 'breakfast' on the website as really it is just a voucher for a coffee and pastry across the street. Not that there was anything wrong with that. :)

The breakfast was very poor, only a coffee and a croissant, for the extra's you had to pay. There was no breakfast at the room as was stated on the web site. The room was basic, and there was not an entrance to the roof terrace as was explained on the web site. Further more there was only one emergency exit since the roof was locked. When we told this to the staff we got a key to the roof, but for the other guests there wasn't.
The control for the airco wasn't on the room, we had to ask for it afther the first (hot) night.
All in all it seemed that there was no money for anything, unless we paid 120 euro's a night.

a rather small, expensive place with staff who looks after there money very well. Close to the vatican and a nice cafe in front.
