Only unsatisfactory thing about this
accommodation was there was no heat on in
the room. I asked for the heater to be
turned on as I was cold and was told that
the outside temperature was warm so the
heater would not turn on until it was
COLDER! it was warm outside - much warmer
than my room! I definitely need a heater
on in my room in the evening, so I would
NOT stay here again.

I arrived at the hotel very upset because the air company had lost my bagage.The hostess was extremely kind and phoned everyday to Alitalia in order to discover something about my case.I do not know what I would have done without her help!

I have booked a room with private bathroom.Instead, I was given an incredible small bathroom,which was impossible to be used!
My mom and I had to use one situated in the corridor!But I must confess that the bedroom itself was clean and spacious.

Wonderfully appointed room and gracious hostess. A very comfortable and comforting Inn-- where the hostess went out of her way to make me feel at home and her recommendations were wonderful. As a women travelling alone I would recommend this B and B.

Assunta was very friendly and gave us a
whole bunch of great tips on what to see in
Rome, where to eat, where to shop, where to
do laundry, etc. All'Opera is only a short
walk from two different metro lines, and was
very easy to find.

The stay was great! There was air
conditioning, it was quiet, and Assunta was
very accomodating. We were even able to
watch DVDs from her own personal collection,
as she brought a DVD player into our room. I
suppose the only complaint we had was that
the breakfast was pretty small. We had to go
to a bar across the street, which was no
problem, but I think that my father would
have preferred a little more to eat than
only a pastry.

We didn't get to the B&B till 1am. Assunta had ordered a taxi which was waiting for us at Ciampino airport. She was waiting for us when we got in. It was a lovely welcome and made such a difference to our stay.

Beautiful old building. All Opera is on first floor. Really secure and also a very nice area. Breakfast was brought up in the morning and left in the reception area. very nice but I missed my bread!

Assunta organised taxi for us which was on time. Price was as quoted- no surprises.

It is so convenient to all the major attractions. We bought 3 day bus passes and used them only twice!

The room that I had booked was not available for the first two nights of my stay. The hotel were apologetic, but did not offer a refund.
In addition, I was required to pay for the stay in cash (rather than credit/debit card), although the hotel were flexible about when this was paid. It would have been useful to know about the payment terms in advance.

The staff were amazingly friendly and provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay despite the couple of hicoughs mentioned.

It is one floor of a domestic apartment building. This is ideal if you want peace and quiet and an intimate atmosphere. If you were looking for something a little more lively then this coyuld be a problem. The hotel is extremely well located and you can walk to any of the major attractions in Rome.

The owner is absolutely fantastic - always smiles and ready to help with ANY questions the guest/s may have.
The owner is very flexible too and makes her guest feeling welcome and at home.
If I ever return to Rome, this will be one of my first choices for accommodation, mostly due to the personallity of the owner!

I thought the conditions in the B + B were not very nice and the place was certainly not worth 120 Euros per night. The room was small with bad lighting, the beds were totally uncomfortable and as for the 'breakfast'. In future I will book my accomadation with a hotel chain - that way I know what I will get for my money.

The lady who welcomed us was very kind. She was helpfull (f.i. we could leave our luggage the last day after we checked out.)
The possibility of paying by creditcard would have been a little more easy.
Communicating was a little adventure because the lady didn't speak another language than Italian.. (although I proposed French, English, German or Spanish..)
It wasn't a real problem that troubled our stay, only..I decided to start studying Italian!!
We really enjoyed our stay in All'Opera and we enjoyed Roma!!

Even though we didnt get the accommodation agreed, we were still happy with what we had.
On arrival, the owners were on holiday and left a cleaner to be in charge. Unfortunately she couldnt speak any English, only the odd words. She tried explaining where things were on a map, but said it mainly in Italian. She was a lovely girl though, and gave exellent service as a cleaner, ive never seen a room so clean in my life. 10 out of 10 for that! When the owners arrived back, it was a day before we were going home. She was lovely too and she could speak English. She was very helpful and told us where to go too on the map, but it was a bit late as we were going home the next day. I would give 10 out of 10 for her service too, although I dont think they should leave someone in charge who cant speak English.

When in the room, you could hear people in the corridor talking or making noise.
I would definately stay at All Opera again, I was very pleased with it.

We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel while we went out for the day as our flight was an evening flight. When we arrived back at the hotel we were allowed to wait in our room until our taxi arrived and we were allowed to freshen up there too before our journey home. I thought this was very nice of them.

I would definately recommend it to anyone that goes to Rome. The hotel is situated close to all the sites and transportation too. At breakfast time you had to go out of the hotel and across the road to a cafe, but that wasnt a problem. Everyone in there was very friendly.

In-room shower for the Carmen room is really not useable. Too small with a wooden slat floor, which could not be sanitary. They did offer us the use of the shower in the hallway bathroom, which was ok, but it is outside of the room. There was construction work going on right outside the BandB in the stairwell and it involved a considerable amount of dirt and noise.

Great central location. Very helpful staff. Both rooms we used had a disadvantage however. The first room had too much early street noise and the second room had an unuseable shower. The staff were so friendly and nice but I would not stay there again.

We had difficulty finding the road from the map and we got terrible directions from people everywhere.
Our reception at All'Opera was very warm and helpful. She also got us a great ride to the airport.

The continental breakfast was unavailable because of Bufina Day but the receptionist kindly gave us proseco. She expressed her regrets nicely.

Unfortunately the owners were not there during our stay and the person left in cgarge was really little help in providing us with essential information that could have helped us while iin Rome.
When we were shown the room and asked if it was satisfactory I asked if they had anything else nicer and larger.
All rooms were the same.
They were not near as nice looking as the photos represented.
We had no choice but to take the shown room
