My experiences with Obelus exceeded my expectations. It was spotlessly clean; the breakfast was of excellent quality. Additionally, the owners provided conceriege service. They were extraordinarily helpful. I would stay there again and would highly recommend the place.

At my arrival the owern was in the hotel waiting for me, very polite, helped me with my luggage, explained all of the room/service etc. telling me to be always on my disposal for any problemes or questions, asked me to help visit Rome with material, some informations etc. I was very pleased.

I was very pleased with Obelus Bed and Breakfast in Rome, is a lovely place, room very nice and clean, silent, owners very polite and familiar asking me for any wish I could have for making my stay pleasant, breakfast at time I wanted to have and the owner accompagnied me to the central station for taking my train to the airport in time, there was a taxi-strike. I was very pleased and any time would recommand Obelus B&B to friends or others like I just did.
Sorry that I am answering only now.

due to the fact that my plane has left only in the evening of the check-out was no problme to leave my luggage in the flat and in time the owner arrived for the checkout and as told above: Accompagnied me to the central station in private car.

familiar place, like in family but you are having your idividual stay and feel free to move. Rooms nice and comfortable (safe, tv) calm, central situated for leaving and walking into the city without using busses if you want, much info-material present in the flat to get informed about the city . It really is a good place, has not the anonimity of an hotel (staying in breakfast halls among hundreds) but you nearly have the same service like in hotels. I prefer to have a key for coming and going like having an own appartement.

I only have to say good things about this place. The owners are fantastic people and the place is more than clean. The rooms, the bathroom and the living room was perfect and new, and the breakfast is excellent. I recommend to everybody to stay at the Obelus B&B, and more important: the location is excellent, it is true you can go walking to the Coliseum.

When we arrived at Tiburtina bus station in Rome we were not sure how to find Obelus B & B. However we telephoned the number on the voucher and one of the managers gave us clear and precise instructions on what we should do, how much the taxi should cost, etc. This was extremely helpful.

The property is spotlessly clean, the room we stayed in was spacious and pleasant with an excellent bathroom. It is in a great location, in easy walking distance of the colliseum and in a pleasant and safe neighbourhood. The proprietors provided us with lots of fantastic information about Rome, where we were in relation to the sites, how to get there on foot or by various transport links, eveything we needed to know. They reslly go the extra mile to make sure their guests' visit to Rome is as enjoyable as possible.

We were asked to pay in cash and told there was a nearby cash machine. However we were able to pay by credit card with no dificulty when we said that was our preferred payment method.

A lovely B & B in a great location which I would wholeheartedly recommend and would stay there again on future trips to Rome. The two ladies who run Obelus are really friendly, helpful, full of great advice and speak several languages. They have created an atmosphere which made it feel more like staying with friends than in B & B accommodation which is fantastic. I can't recommend Obelus highly enough.

Reception lady was very helpful and we are really thankful for that.

the preperty was very clean and we had a very comfortable stay at Obelus. Bed was in a good condition so that we could have a good rest.

the closest metro station was closed (due to the construction)and we didn't know about it. it might have been mentioned somewhere, but it would be nice if they could make sure about this point to the guest before they are coming.

Obelus Bed&Breakfast is in the end of via Tasso but on the edge of Palazzo Lateranense. ( Metro San Giovanni )

A very confortable B&Breakfast near Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano where you find many buses for downtown. Our best experience in Roma.

I feel they could have made available a small fridge for keeping cold drinks and milk, they provided coffee making facilities but only if you drink black coffee.

The arrival experience was very good. We arranged a taxi from the airport to Obelus and this was waiting for us and worked very well. The staff at Obelus were waiting for us and made us feel very welcome. They could not have been more friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Obelus. The 2 girls were so friendly. The rooms were very clean and well looked after and the breakfasts were excellent. My wife celebrated her birthday in Rome and the people at Obelus made this special for her. I would recommend Obelus to anybody.

Just how welcoming, friendly and helpful the 2 girls are. It really made our stay in Rome very special. It's in a great location and the small size (3 rooms) makes it different. Also, both girls speak excellent English which helped us and recommended good places to eat etc.

The peaple are warm, friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay in Rome special and made a real fuss over my son and wife. They provided excellent value and everything worked out very well. Thr room was spacious and very clean, and the breakfasts are great. I look forward to going back and highly recommend it.

I was confused as there wasn't any Obelus
B&B sign outside the apartment block. I
walked up and down for almost 1 hour.
Eventually a taxi brought me back to where I
was 50 minutes earlier. Even if Obelus B&B
was in the intercom list of names it would
have helped. This would definately be my
only criticism of the accommodation.

Beeing exactly as on the web site is not a usual case. There is a common practice that they publish the best photos of the best room.
In case of Obelus - we were supprised that the room we have received was exactly as describe - e.m. very good standard.

It was a B&B and the owners were fantastic, very nice and helpful at all time.
The only thing I can say is that they were great and the accommodation was superb, all new very clean simple but with taste and style.
Even thought the place is in a more or less busy road you are not disturbed for the noise.
Quite pleasant and very good value for money.

The room was nice,however the bed was awful.The mattress must have been very old or cheap.It sunk in the middle and there were so many lumps that we were unable to sleep.The location is extremly noisy.The staff is noisy in the morning.The breakfast was exactly the same every morning.

The location was advertised as 'quiet' but the local hospital ambulance sirens were intrusive to us. We live in a very quiet location so me be more sensitive than most.
An emergency alarm pull cord in the shower was not marked or coloured as emergency so we pulled it when looking for the vent fan switch. To assist future patrons it should be changed to red and marked 'Emergency'

We could change the room after the first night.

The twin room is actually very small and the wardrobe is too small for two persons. I think this room is only suitable for ONE person. One advantage: it is quiet whereas the greater rooms do get some noise from the street.

Our room given to another family. We took what was left. Getting to the room was expensive - would have been much better if B&B made same arrangements for arriving as they did for departure.
