It was a little hard to find because there was no sign on the street for the inn. It may have been easier if the directions mentioned the inn was inside a regular residential property and/or there was a sign for the in on the exterior door that faces the street.

I requested a king size bed via e-mail and my request was granted! King size beds are rare in European hotels! Melissa also loaned us a 3 pronged electrical adaptor that we needed to recharge our laptop as well as the much wanted oscilating fan that we need to sleep well( for the noise and air circulation). She brought it from home with no extra charge. Melissa and Francois' hospitality was above and beyond my expectations! We were given a map as well as some recommendations on restaurants around town. Melissa mapped out directions on how to get to meeting places for our Rome Walks as well as a trip to Hard Rock Cafe Etc. I whole heartedly recommend this small hotel. Location is right in the heart of ancient Rome. Can't wait to go back next year! The Nicolas Inn is where we'll stay!

Melissa arranged for someone to take us to the airport the morning of check out. He was there promptly at 4:30am as requested for our 6:30am flight. Thank you for making our trip smooth and effortless!

We loved it, it was very personal, the breakfast in bed was a real bonus. Large hotel chains should take a leaf out of their book.

Stayed late to look after our bags as we were flying in the evening. They bent over backwards to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible

The directions to the Inn's location was good, but it was a little hard to find the Inn once you got into the building. It's on the 2nd floor, with no sign indicating to go up.

Very welcoming. It was nice to be greeted with a smile, and by somebody how spoke English and new the area.

The owners were very friendly and were so helpful. Nothing appeared to much trouble. They were only to happy to help out with anything asked of them and give addvise on things to do and see.
I would recommend them to anyone.

We could not have been more pleased. It was clean, comfortable, and Melissa and Francois went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful!

All processes were easy and no-drama so that we could get on with our vacation!
However - on your website it states that this hotel takes credit cards. Melissa informed us via e mail before our arrival that it is cash only but the romeby.com website should be changed to reflect this information.

Melissa was very helpful w/ restaurant suggestions, and an accomodating hostess. The accomodations were outstanding, including a nice breakfast in our room each morning. This B&B is located in the middle of ancient Rome, and convenient to the Vatican. What a great find!

I did not imagine where Nicolas Inn was and what type of building it is in, so at first I was confused, but when I found the doorplate and rang at the door, Francois came down to meet me. I was happy with it.

We had a very pleasant stay with Melissa and Francois! They go out of their way to help guests with plans, and ordered us a taxi for very early in the morning of our departure. Breakfasts were very good, and served with such cheer. A great find!
I would only suggest that they create a sign outside that was a little larger so that the Inn would be easier to find.
