Hotel Milazzo was a fantastic, clean and very nice hotel. Central to everthing, and all the staff, particulary Claudia were fantastic.

The room we got was not as nice as the one seen on the web page.
... You should mention that breakfast is not served within the hotel premises. instead you get a voucher which you can swap in a snack bar around the corner for 1 coffee and 1 donut. ... Easy to get there, central located, clean.

Was not accepting credit cards AT ALL during our stay. Could pay with cash only ... A relatively cheap place to sleep in Rome

The room was much smaller than we had expected, and so was the shower. We asked for a double bed, but got twin beds on the first day.
Soap bars were not replenished, especially given that they were quite small.
... Breakfast - Having to obtain a voucher every morning was not customer-friendly. They should be given upon check-in for each morning. Before 9 am, we were told to ask the cleaning lady. After 9 am, then we had to go to reception. ... It's quite small. The amenities are not fantastic for the money you spend - room is small, no English TV, no hair dryer, no clock, etc. Value for the money is poor.

I requested a room with 2 beds and was goven a room with 2 beds made up as a double. i requsted but did not get the beds made as two singles. we took the top and bottom sheets and folded them over and with the bed spread and another blanket and separated the beds. the next day I told the clerk of the problem but nothing was done. ... The room was exceptionally small and it was inconvenient to go across the street and up to the corner for the one roll and coffee breakfast.(especially in the rain) ... reception was on 1st floor and room was on 4th floor. ... too small to consider

Disappointed with the breakfast arrangements. Surely at the price paid, a much better offering /location could be arranged. Has any thought been given to supplying breakfast in the residents' rooms?

We got a twin room when we hd booked a double room and the staff were unable to change this. We received no towels on one occasion and had to go and retrieve them ourselves. The shower head was all encnrusted with hard water deposits and did not work properly. The bathroom was almost too small to move in. The room was a bit shabby and at least 3 sockets and light fittings were hanging off the wall. ... I wouldn't recommend it

We enjoyed our overnight stay and the staff were extremely helpful. The only comment we would like to make is that the breakfast was not what we had hoped for. Although the coffee and croissants were good , it was a little disconcerting to have to eat standing up in in a small busy corner store. ... As a convenient well kept small hotel very clean with a helpful staff.

Luckily we paid the night before we left as there was no one at the desk and the office was closed when we left on Monday morning. If we had to wait we could have missed our flight. We also then did not get a voucher for breakfast so we paid for a meal we didn't have. ... The hotel was very basic but clean and suited our needs. It was in a very busy place so it wasn't quiet at night so I wouldn't recommend it if you have children. The staff were very friendly and it was handy being so close to the station.

The room and bathroom were too tiny compared to the price. ... Small and tiny hotel which is OK for a price about 30% less.

There was some confusion about the A/C being included. They said I had to pay extra, but then I told them I'd been told it was included. They gave it to me, but I felt they were too stingy about it. It was very hot in Rome and it should not have been a problem. Also the elevator wasn't working when I got there, so I had to carry my bags up to the 1st floor where the reception desk was. Then I had to ask for help up the 4th floor where my room was. This hotel is a pensione and should be advertised that way. It's very clean, but very sparse and the bathroom was too small. The towels were not terrycloth but a linen of sorts that isn't very absorbent. I was grateful the young people at the front desk were very helpful and spoke English. I thought $100 was too much to spend and would not return there for that much again. However, I liked the neighborhood, very diverse, good restaurants and convenient to Termini. It might not be for everyone, only someone looking for a bohemian experience. ... I just thought the photos on the website projected an image of a small European hotel that was a bit more comfortable and elegant. This is definitely a budget pensione situation. The entrance was a bit shady and the elevator even when it worked was very slow and unreliable. ... I had payed for airconditioning for the full time I was there until check out, however as soon as I paid for my hotel which was about an hour before check out, they shut off the a/c while I was still in the room, which was annoying. ... I guess as I've stated above. It's one of several in the building and it is a little less than what the website shows. I don't think the approach or entrance are very impressive. ... As above.
